cool story: I was a flight test engineer at McDonnell/Boeing on the T-45. The real aircraft had the same wing drop issue when coming in to land. this was a very big concern to the Navy as this is their advanced pilot trainer. There were a few mishaps due to wing drop on landing. Not good for a trainer. It took a bit to figure out the solution....what finally solved it was the addition of LE stall strips near the wing root. Placement and location of these were very critical to preventing the wing drop. We were never able to find out the cause. The drop was not consistent to one side or the other, flap position, airspeed or aircraft configuration. It was just a 'quirk' of the aircraft. Once we added those stall strips no more wing drop.
Thanks! Glad you liked the video. Your channel is coming along nicely. Getting viewer recognition and a little You Tube money gives the hobby for us a whole new layer of excitement.
Thanks to for all your vids! Question…where did you get your gyro settings? Are they published somewhere or does the + system arrive at them by gathering data as you fly? They (Or some of them) are different from the default settings. Thanks!
Thanks so much! I’m new to the + and actually haven’t done alot with the previous gyro. I rely greatly on YT vids and not much is out there yet on the + system. Model AV8R has started with it, and now Ima going to check out what 2 bros has to say. I got into it because of the Hand Launch Assist. But now that I bought in, I wanna understand and use it as much as my brain is capable . Thank you again!!
No I cashed in my Affiliate earnings with this one. I was able to take $209 off the $549 price tag. Of course that is a year and a half worth of affiliate sales building up...lol
Nice job! I upgraded all my birds to as3x+ and they’re so dialed in. I haven’t played around with the nose gyro though. You think it’s worth it? Curious your thoughts.
Greg, she is a great plane but she will definitely bite you on landing if you get too slow and too nose high. Your first landing was perfect. She’s need speed. Also, Greg you are not pronouncing the name correct. You are dropping the W. It’s Gos Hawk😊
Wow what a great maiden and what a GREAT flying EDF!!!
Cool airplane nice job on the maiden and great review
Thanks! Glad you liked it.

I really appreciate you sharing this. Thank you
This guy is the huell howser of RC! Love it!!
Was thinking the same thing!
I must have been living under a rock since I have no idea who that is...lol But thanks I hope!!
@@pittsburge88 I would love for him to say "That's Amaazing!"
@@FatGuyFliesRC you just sound like him, its truly a compliment. ruclips.net/video/RUYbkau9scM/видео.html
He is Dearly missed!
I used to have this jet when it first was released. It has the BEST trailing links for landing EVER.
The gear is the main reason I bought it, I love that wide stance and the way the gear rocks back.
Very nice landing 😂.
Thanks, it was a good one!
Great maiden flights! I noticed you weren’t as nervous on this maiden than some other ones in the past. This plane flies really well! I’m impressed!
Well I been flying so many new planes lately that I have learned to just relax.
Nice job. She's a great plane. Looks amazing with all the details. Nice maiden.

Ahh this guy just shows off now 😂 , great flight ✈️ as always, showing everyone how to do it , 👍👍
I try
Was going to mention the wing drop too. Had this one since it came out. Definitely cannot get slow on landing. Good save!
Yeah she will get you if you let her.
Great flight brother!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You did great with maiden. Easy to fly , lands easy with flaps and airbrakes , i dont use reverse as its not needed
I used flaps and reverse thrust either way she flies and lands like a kitten. but don't float her in some speed is needed.
Oh, forgot to mention, in real aviation the main gear would be called a trailing-link suspension landing gear Greg.
I know, I just call it whatever I'm used to. I know it's a different world.
Heck yeah, good maiden landing. I don’t own this one but a buddy does and it’s nice.
Yes it is and thanks!!
Absolutely beautiful 👍
Yes it is an awesome flyer . Flies as good as it looks!
I was waiting to that fly, very nice.
Thanks for watching!
That wing drop on landing is SCARY! This jet can definitely bite you if you get too slow and pitch up too much. Great maiden!
Yeah every flight you learn a little more.
Fun
Very
Excellent maiden flight, congrats!
Thanks, she flies as good as she looks!

I got them by setting them myself and the advice from the Spektrum videos out there and 2 bros rc.

No flap landing again? you'll amaze yourself with how useful they are.
I used them in the speed trial. Effective but I had a strong head wind so I will use as needed.
Was this one of the surprises under the Christmas Tree 🌲?

Do you sell any of your jets

Well it made a HUGE differance on the new 80mm F-22 that is for sure!!
Yeah buddy. 💯✌️
Glad you like it!
Beautiful plane. 8 think in the 1940s it would have been a T28..
Yes it is the replacement since the T28 was also the naval trainer.

Yep, thanks. I have heard it pronounced so many different ways. lol
