I like this needle threader, because after 20 years of trying with only about a 10% success rate with the old needle threader, I always threaded the needle by hand. That being said, I did have a Bernina 830 and 880, before I went to the 790 (don’t ask), and the needle threader on those machines, was even better, and I liked the position of the needle threader button on those machines better.
My needle threader is stuck in the down position and I can't find a fix. I've rebooted and tried to get it to reset but I can't even get the error message to go away. Do you have any advice?
There is a video on this very subject Elizabeth, I found it as I was looking for a repair for my 790ori which has a dislodged spring! I had to search for it again, here it is, hope it helps.

Bernina has been perfecting the needle threader over the years. I am a big fan of the latest version ;)
I just got the BERNINA 770QE Plus and thought that threader was awesome. This one does it even better. 😅
