I just rented this movie last night, after never having seen Carey Mulligan in anything. I was blown away!! I was then blown away a SECOND TIME when watching this video to hear her thick British accent!!! Her American accent was flawless, and her performance was RIVETING. Truly interesting to watch. I'd love to see her past work after seeing her in Young Woman :)
Robbery. I wish the academy took a chance in giving her due. But Frances is really strong among the members, what to do. Nevertheless, her oscar is well deserved. Just think having 3 Oscars is an overkill.
