Seahorse Sketches

People often ask me how I prepare to do a painting or how I come up with ideas for painting. Here's a short video briefly explaining how I use thumbnail sketches to prepare for a painting. In this case, the simple, sassy seahorse painting. I apologize if it's difficult to see the pencil sketching, I'm new at this video thing and still figuring out things. I will use a sharpie next time so you can see it better. It will give you an idea of how I utilize quick little sketches to come up with the "plan" for a painting or project. Thanks for watching!
