Great video thanks for making it. Shame you had car problems and luckily you missed the huge queue to get in which started around 8am.
Thanks to the ticket pre sales along the queue before opening at 11am the BTS Exhibition (British Tarantula Society- the world’s oldest ongoing tarantula society not indeed as mentioned not the K-pop lot. Ha ha ) wizzed folks in at break neck speed.
Thanks to brilliant organisation - shameless plug. Attendance was indeed down most likely due to various sports finals and a show previous week.
The 37th BTS Exhibition was a great success and we will be back at the same venue next year.
By the way I think it was mentioned it’s always been at this venue. Well in fact 37 years ago we started in Ann Webbs lock up then went on to Chessington world of adventures. From there it grew to big and went to Luton for several years.
Then a one off at Pebble Mill in the midlands which was a disaster due to the venue double booking fossil show.
This is where Ray and Angela Hale took the helm as the exhibition organisers.
Wednesbury school was the host for a decade then on to Cosely school which we out grew and moved to the Ricoh area for two years. The final show there in the huge Jaguar hall.
Now we have a great home at the WEC. Which I think everyone loves. Great parking easy access and spacious halls. With 3 metre gaps in the aisles we are the most disabled friendly event on the tarantula hobby calendar.
