Need a new bus as close to this routemaster as possible..bright yellow ceiling ,incredible bulbs and shaped like it too. Obviously I know in current london someone with a wheelchair has to be allowed on board and no jumping on and off.
@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus not as good but still better than all the new square electric buses. At least wifi on them so can take mind of being on them
The AECs were in their element in a front engine layout plying the flat streets of London in a relatively light weight vehicle that could carry a decent load.
Noticed RM1979 on the 19. I seem to recall it was at Willesden when the 6 and 98 lost its Routemasters in 2004. Couldn't have been long before the 25 lost its Routemasters and went OPO.
Great seeing RM's on the 55 again and the Clapton 22's going through to Homerton.

Well, the Boris Bus was the nearest they got......

They had their moments climbing some of London's steep hills though, like Muswell Hill......

Yes, the 25s fell in early 1988 along with the 53s.....
London in 1987 was similar the view as Hong Kong
Lovely seeing the RM's at dusk lit up warmly with their tungsten bulbs.
