We usually saw them at the restaurants a few blocks down on our lunches.) Has been nice, polite, and genuinely seem like amazing people. Police have more restraints due to protocol, patrol guidelines, laws, acts etc. Firefighters, as many can agree, aren't constrained by the same as they don't enforce the law nor are sworn to do so.
In this situation they were more open with the firefighters because they were afraid of getting the police involved since they’re scared of her going to jail.
Honestly just about every person in the Chicago-verse is a better human being than the Chicago PD cast. Most of the time they're ignoring police protocol, brutalising witnesses, discharging firearms negligently, and on multiple occasions breaking the law themselves even to the point of murder. Watching it with any amount of knowledge of actual police procedure is painful.
That guy was really dumb to pull out a melee weapon against an entire squad of firefighters, considering how strong they can be and the amount of training they had for these scenarios

Yes, I feel like Stella's story is a jigsaw puzzle, we get tiny pieces at a time. She mentioned it again this season, so here's hoping we finally get the full puzzle.🤞
They had a young child in the house and she was involved in drugs. She could have been aggressive whilst under the influence, so it's understandable why they felt the need to kick her out, even if it was ultimately the wrong decision to make.
Imo stella was the real hero... sure Casey n the guys fended off the guy with a machete but what Stella said to the girl had more impact. Again just my imo. Stay safe out there guys
