I can't believe you're licensing such amazing work under Creative Commons. What a great step for the CC community. Also created with open tools like Blender 3D. You really give me hope for the future of open project animation. Thanks!
Always thought this was like one of those random movies that'd appear on like pirated/shady places (which it was) but I now appreciate it more knowing that it was more than just that and was made to show off the capabilities of Blender
This was a fantastic movie! The facial expression the actions, everything blended so well together that you didn't need words to describe it. I actually liked the fact that the bunny was looking into the camera, it made me feel like I was right there cheering him on. When he gave a thumbs up so did I. Another thing I liked was the music, the ending credits got me all teary eyed and emotional that I had to play it back a few times, that music and the characters go hand in hand with each other.
The expressive character animation is second to none, it seams that every moment has a perfectly exaggerated motion or emotional nuance that allows the viewer to immediately connect to the characters. None of it would work without the superb modelling, texturing, lighting and scene design that makes every frame an individual piece of art. For me the story is the classic example of three bullies getting their comeuppance, that made me smile, laugh and come back for more. Outstanding work.
This was an amazing production! I knew about it when the community was working on it, but never watched it until now. Frankly, just like I feel about some big studio animation industry features, I felt that it wasn't my cup of tea for character design when I saw the promos so that's why I kept a distance, but had always been impressed by the level of the whole project for the time. Now to finally watch it, I'm amazed at how well it was done. It is an excellent short film and surprising what they were able to do with their resources at the time. It looks as good or better than some of the best TV CG that comes out today. I feel the aesthetic quality falls a bit short of cinema feature CG studios like Dreamworks, Pixar, etc... but not by much, considering the relatively small budget and that blender was still in its early youth, it kind of blows those big studios out of the water in terms of innovative resourcefulness, also the narrative and comedy was classic! That allows this short feature to stand on its own and now I want to look into more projects completed by the community.
I love remembering things I saw in the past. This animation is important to me as I remember watching this on an Andoid keyboard phone my dad let me use in the summer of 2012, nostalgic times

For those who were upset by this, allow me to explain. This is satire, and not intended for children. It is also not very appropriate for adults who can't understand satire. The main thing it satires is, of course, Rambo movies. It also satirizes, yet pays homage to, classic American animation. It is an entertaining twist that the small, cute animals are the "bad guys". This is an intentionally humorous reversal of classic animation stereotypes.
