    Thank you so much!
I replaced the fuse once( with much difficulty) by just removing the endcap), but soon after over extended the battery, and was overly cautious about the glue, and it’s been sitting on my bench for a couple months! Been going on the RAD sites and asking if anyone has replaced the bms on a RR6+ yet.and now all I have to do is replace the discharge fuse!
Thanks from this 75 yr old VET!

Did I miss you changing out the charging port that blew when the owner placed the key in the charging port?

Great video. I have the RadRover 6 Plus and it uses the same battery. Reddit has this issue with this battery all the time so this is a very useful video for people to see.

Hey "Now Let's Review", that looks just like a regular 10A "mini fuse". No need to order those, they are available at any AutoZone, Advanced Auto, Walmart, etc... (probably even a grocery store with a decent "home/auto" housewares section).
Edit, I just saw where he said he got it at a gas station. Yeah, they often have them too... ;-) It's a regular "mini" blade style fuse.

That is a much better video than the one I found a couple years ago. I had way less trouble getting it apart than they did though. And you don't have to peel all the blue wrap off, just a little slice where the fuse is and seal it back up with some tuck tape. Also be careful slicing the glue to push it out, there are rubber gaskets at each end and they can be sliced.

Well I started taking my non-working battery apart. It has another layer, should I unwrap it too?

A good point to mention is to lessen the risk of shorting or blowing the charge fuse again is to make sure your charger is not plugged into the mains when plugging in the small electrical socket to the battery, then you should plug in to the mains and switch on

AKA the BOOB method. BIKE -> OUTLET, OUTLET -> BKIE (When plugging, unplugging)

I've seen too many of these cheap Chinese battery packs burst into flames on E-bikes and scooters. I made sure I purchased a 36v E-bike with 500w hub motor and swapped out the battery with a 40v Ryobi battery pack (still 36v, Ryobi thought it was more impressive to round up to 40v). Now I can easily swap the battery each morning with a fresh one, and put the spent battery on a quick charger. Power tool batteries and chargers have circuitry for over heating and over/under voltage protection, whereas the chargers that come with most E-bikes do not.

How do you make it use a different style battery? I'm sure a lot of people would find this method useful

Isnt that the point of a fuse, to blow before anything else?
