- It wasn't easy, but we cracked the code! We know what happened between the end of "Friendship is Magic" and "A New Generation" The reason magic disappeared, Why the tribes separated, and we even had some wild theories about these events.

Misty's amulet brought out the worst in others. Most likely opaline infected many ponies with the purple mist.
That's actually an interesting take. Perhaps the amulet was used to provoke the war. In the TYT continuity.

honestly, alphabittle having been married to the unicorn guardian (or in other theories, potentially an alicorn?) makes sense, seeing as now he's with queen haven so he obviously has a type lmao

@@GrimWolf001 There is a strangre intresting thing on Chapter 5 of MYM, in the episode Family Trees Pt. 1, when the Mane 6 was on Bridlewood in a place where we see Unicorns making paintings, and we can see in one of the paintings, there a character that looks like Misty but has an alicorn and she is pink with dark blue hair. and it takes the attention of Misty because she was familiar with this maybe. What if this Alicorn may be is related with Misty.
@@SouhailAdal Maybe... but I don't think an Alicorn could live among the unicorns during Xenophobic phase. But certainly is an interesting possibility.

01:50 The Starscout Prophecy was physically made by somepony that was living in a point in time when the "classical" Throne of Zephyr Heights existed.
-> That throne was replacedd with the current "modern" one by Princess Haven ~30 years before A.N.G (when she was crowned Queen).
. Argyle said his family kept he 1/3 piece of the roll for 10 generations (~300 years); but the roll itself may be older (before it was splitted).
. Sunny told to Spike (implicitly) that a single century has passed since the 3 tribes of ponies cut communication [The War].
-> Elder Flower was a little filly when the oldest unicorns in Briddlewood told her stories about the great city of Zephyr Heights (that she never visited herself, but they did).
[My estimation]
. The WAR finished about 120 years ago.
. Dragons were magically hybernating between 900 & 1200 years.
. The end of FiM was about 2000 years ago [Twilight is Jesus]. 😅
Spike is an (older) adult dragon.
At the end of FiM, a dragon gives a flower to a mare (hinting to cross-species relationships).
. Except for Spike (maybe Sparky); all surviving dragons are yiunger & have both cutiemarks & "hair" that is magically compatible with the manes of ponies (causes sentience & wild behavior if mixed with Pipp's potions).
-> This hints that young dragons are part-pony hybrids [the other side to Kirins being (ancient, precursor) ponies that are part-dragon/salamander].
Because Fountain was trapped in the dungeon of a castle before (but was not born there, rather captured); yet NOT by Opaline; she must be hundreds of years older than what sge hibernated alongside Spike.
-> Spike MUST be older than 1500 years (to be the "senior" of Fountain's "junior" relative status).
The term "Ancient Equestria" is used in the same way "Ancien Greece" in the real world (3000 to 2000 years before); including both the Celestial & Twilight eras.
Really interesting points, so let me add to the conversation:
- The Starscout rug, depicts Ponies and places from the future, so it's natural that its not accurate.
-A generation it's not an exact number, since it depend at what age ponies had their kids. For 10 generation to be 300 years each mother shoould have minimum 30 years when they had their first born. It's not impossible, but unlikely, The estimations could be between 180 to 300 years, but let's remember that there are only 9 generation between Elder Flower and Moondancer. So make it 160 ro 280 years.
- It's unlikely that so much time had passed, I mean if that's the case, we would still be afraid of Nuclear Holocaust, and buying things to create nuclear bunkers. Each generation that passes, takes less serious the threats of the previous ones, specially if there was not any contact.
- Elder Flower never visited Zephy Heights, but she met Pegasi, that told her about it. Which aligns with the estimation that the "war" didn't last long and there was a long period of devided unity.
- Your estimation of a century had passed might be correct. Spike wasn't aware that ponies lost magic, meaning that Twilight put them to sleep after Opaline's second attack. And Opaline wasn't part of the war.
Yes, it's possible that the young dragons are cross-breeds with ponies. That's why they have cutie marks but spike don't.
Fountain was trapped during Opaline attack on the dragons. We have no evidence that says it wasn't Opaline.
Spike is Older than Fountain for certain. However I can't estimate his age only by his size. We don't have information about how Dragons grow in the world of MLP.
And newer generations called VHS ancient when they only have 40 years of existing. So the term "ancient" might be relative.
I'm just trying to consider what the data provided by the show says.

That makes sense as it would consider G4 as ancient to G5
@@nobody-y7i1r Data says its less than 300 years. Mostly from Elder Flower's heritage and age.
Considering that Moondacer was removed 6 generations from Elder Flower, and the old lady has an age that may add a 3 more generations. We have 9 generations.
My estimate is between 180 and 225 year with a maximum of 270 considering each generation had it's kids between the age 20 and 25 years. (270 if they all had them on the age of 30 years).
Ok, so I'm gonna say the same story but this time, there would be a story about Starlight Ridge, Allura's backstory, and I could also say that Twilight didn't just take all the magic from the ponies and Dragons but also from other creatures, like Griffons, Hippogriffs, Changelings, Kirins.... because if they got magic, then Opaline can steal it.
During Twilight's reign:
-3 crystals fells from the Shooting Star on a castle (witch is maybe the Crystal Empire castle, but even it's not the same, I could say that it's upgraded).
-Opaline was banned from Skyros.
-Opaline decided to attack Equestria to take all magic, and then she attacks the Dragons and she takes their magic.
-Twilight found the Crystals, and she created with it, the Unity Crystals, and then she created artefacts that got all magic from other creatures.
-Then she created a Magic Sheild around Equestria to prevent Opaline to steal all magic.
-The Dragon go into a magical hibernation in order to hide their magic.
-3 Ponies (a unicorn, a pegasus and a earth pony) became Guardians, and made a conflicts, so they are separated.
During The Period Of Segregation:
-Maretimes Bay, Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood were founded.
(okay, so this is where Starlight Ridge backstory start, I think it was created by Starlight Glimmer, since people heard that special and said that Starlight would come back, but that doesn't happen, unless Starlight Ridge was Starlight's Secret)

Grimm Wolf, If I may ask (just for a bit of imaginative fun, not to be taken too seriously), could you perhaps do another like this, but one about the possible gap between G3-G4... This may sound silly, but with the assumption that G3 & G4 are (secretly) connected like G4 is to G5, though not as obviously so, because of the time gap in this case..? (I have a personal theory/idea that all the Gens are actually connected to each other, and MLP is actually in one world with a vast timeline in between the Generations or something, with the mysterious 2nd Gen (the real Friendship Garden era G2 being a lost/forgotten Gen between G1-G3). It's for a story idea I had that somehow randomly brings & mashes all the Generations together for an epic adventure due to 'the return' of a (new) secret & unknown arch-villain from the distant past.
Well G3 it's the real Outlier here, we have more evidence that G1 and "Pony tales" are connected. with G4 and G5, G1 being older than G4 but Pony tales occurring after the tribe separation. (This explains why there are only Earth Ponies in Pony tales).
Obviously there are many things that potentially can connect G3 with the rest of the generations, the breezies being one of them, and the presence of dragons. But how they manage reality in G3 it's inconsistent with how the other series deal with it.

From the narrative shown in the show and the comics, without taking that book into consideration (Maybe I should have paused Winter Wishday and given it a read, because I don't recall some of the events you concluded from it), Opaline seemed to be responsible for everything. Her unicorn supremacist rhetoric and violence, alongside her other means of manipulation shown throughout the show, would have led to the tribes being in conflict with one another. And so the crystals were created not only to stop Opaline, but also to hold back ponies from magic when their magical abilities were what fueled their blind belief in her rhetoric.
But in this version, Opaline simply was a major threat that led to the creation of the crystals, and wasn't responsible for the tribes splitting. Rather, the tribes brought it on themselves, with their leaders really being the ones to blame for their pettiness towards one another and for their clearly corrupt leadership. No good reason for their actions, - again, unless Opaline had some influence on their thinking - which would make these leaders no better than the villains they fear.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, in a previous one I tell my theory about the the Opaline, and Guardians. If you liked this one, you will enjoy that one as well.
I don't think the leaders were "corrupt", but I agree with you that they were petty in their descisions. I don't think Opaline influenced them, since she was already exiled whey separated.

@GrimWolf001 Elder Flower seems to know what happened in Equestria's past and Opaline. Elder Flower stated that Moon Dancer is her 4x great aunt, which is about a 300-year gap between G4 and G5. I wonder how she would be incorporated into your theory.
I’m disappointed of how the pony tribe had separated each with their piece of the crystal and forgot of the magic of friendship and all the ponies and creatures were actually now friends not enemies
Well the ponies didn't forgot friendship, but someone caused them to be angry to each other.

Well... Celestia lived for 1,000 years. Same as Luna, and the only difference they have with other ponies, is her status as Alicorns. Is possible that Twilight, Cadence and Flurry, also being Alicorns can live for that long. And the estimated time between Twilight's Reign and a New Generation is between 130 and and 270 years.
So there is a way... I can't guarantee is the correct one, but there is.

I don't think she is death. As I said in my wild theories she might even still ruling. Let's hope we'll see her again.

@@michaelapucca1 I think they still exists but I don't think they are still around but I don't think we are going to see them outside a passing mention. As mentioned in the video those cities have their own issues outside the rest of Equestria.
I no longer accept that G5 takes place in the same world and timeline as G4. I hold that it is an alternate world with an alternate Twilight Sparkle and Spike, alternate geography, and alternate laws of physics and magic. There are just too many incongruities for them to take place in the same world.
It's Ok. If that's what brings you peace. It's true that the show has many inconsistencies. However what I discovered in these videos is that are less than we think. For example. With the art of the show I found the Maretime Bay, Briddlewood, Zephy Height and even Opaline's Dark Castle are situated in the east coast of Equestria, near Phillydelphia..
