I remember early League. Said memories are 1% fond, 99% "hell no never again, you learned your lesson". As a Support player, the only thing that brought me back briefly was the release of Pyke, whom I had some fun with for a little while before the bad set in again and I relearned my lesson. I am sure the Priestess will be fine as long as she plays with her friends rather than going alone.
Opposite for me. Old League was fun and wild, nobody had a good understanding of the whole game, only certain aspects, so anything could happen and every game was a learning experience. Less toxic too because people back then were used to internet nonsense and would just instantly mute insults instead of flinging mud and baiting people to report them. Current league can still be fun in full groups with friends, but soloqueue is simply miserable.
Back when "ARAM was seasonal"? BACK IN MY DAYS ARAM was a fan made custom SR game and it relied on players being honorable and following the ARAM rules!
