  • Sapa is an area in North Vietnam where time has stood still. We seek out the age-old traditions of the hill tribes, who live here in the countryside. During a multi-day trekking through the rice fields and farms, we visit the villages of Ta Phin, Ma Tra and Mong Sen. We sleep and eat with a local family, learn to make spring rolls ourselves and bathe in a medicinal herbal bath from the local spa. What an unforgettable adventure! Are you coming?
We make our trip through Vietnam during a one-year trip around the world. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, Bahamas, United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand and Indonesia. Vietnam is already our eighteenth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in Hanoi, the rest of North Vietnam and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything, with a new episode every week. Also take a look at instagram @woutoftheworld or www.woutoftheworld.nl

The video is great. I am from one of the tribes in Sapa. I am just disappointed you went to visit was not the truth reflection of Sapa. Ta phìn is one of the most touristic villages in Sapa. There is a lot more beauty and authenticity in Sapa for those looking for it.
Also, please don't give candy to kids. I was one of those children a few years ago. Most don't have access to toothbrushes or toothpaste, and many now have problems with their teeth because so many tourists give sweets. Now I work in villages to help educate kids about oral hygiene and the potential issues of accepting gifts from strangers.

Hi Cha Ly Thi, thanks for the reply! This is always the case in every part of the world. We made the trip with the company of a friend of ours who lives in Hanoi. He visited many families to see where his costumers would get the best experience. Our experience was splendid, but I understand there is always more to explore. No problem, but this doesn’t really affect the trip we had. All the people visit Amsterdam in the Netherlands, but of course this is only the touristy part. Still I understand that people like this city.
The candy is by the way sugar free, just as we give our own boy mostly. No worries! 😉👍🏻

@@WoutoftheWorld The other big problem is the plastic? What do you think the children do with the plastic wrappers that covered your sugar free sweets?

@@WoutoftheWorld They belong to the same family , but hemp doesn't have any euphoric effect on the CNS , because its THC level is almost zero . You should know that the law in VN is very strict about drugs and any other dangerous products . The police here will never tolerate any Haschisch cultivation like in some western countries . I am not criticizing your videos . I am just giving you the right informations to help you to improve your knowledge .
