I love the way she says "No, I'm not cutting my hair", so lovely. Such a little speaking voice and then "boom!" this giant fantastic voice. To be honest, she used her "softer, mellow" singing mode for this performance. That's the greatness of Xtina, she has so many layers and colours to her voice that she can decide how to sound in relation to the song. She's so versatile and freaking talented. I'll always love her. Queen of vocals.

I think neither cher or christina wanted to do a sequel, I have no idea how much money the movie made but if it wasn't really great that would probably be a reason as well :/ witch is a shame cause a livod the movie as well.

@Lavender Quintin That almost describes the whole movie. It's risqué, but not over the top. I still remember the first time I saw the movie. I never really paid attention to Christina before, and her vocals blew me away. When Cher first showed up in the movie, I was reminded why I liked her back in the '70s, and not the punchline she had pretty much become nowadays. She can still perform with the best of 'em.

This movie has always been very special to me, because this was the first movie that i bought with my own money back when i was 13. Christina looked absolutely beautiful throughout the movie. Her acting skill was good, and the songs fit the theme of the movie. The storyline may be a little overused, because this is, like, a remake of Glitter by Mariah Carey, in my opinion. Mariah is bad at lip syncing, though, but both are amazing singers, talented artists and beautiful women. I adore her cute and innocent personality in this movie.

Christina was barely out of her teens in the Dirrty music video. When she made Burlesque she was 30 years old, and had a 2 year old child. She's good, but life experience plays a part too.

Never have I seen anyone match up to Marilyn, but Christina in Burlesque did! I'm not comparing them as individuals, they're both uniquely beautiful and talented women. I'm referring to the spirit and sensuality of it all, which is of course, coupled with many other attributes difficult to imitate and replicate.

Xtina is one of the few artists that can actually sing and move/dance. This performance is amazing. None of the singing divas could ever pull off a performance like this.
She was lip-synching for the dance numbers :) Singing while dancing is actually super hard. A lot of singers lip-sync during movies and shows to save their voice and spare their vocal chords.
