Probably the pilot discovered Mast Moment on his first try to settle the helicopter down. Whenever possible keep the slope in the left side or land on flat ground with all the helicopters of the BK 117, EC 145 and H 145 Serie, otherwise it gets tricky. Nice Video!
Next year 2020 our air ambulance LINCOLNSHIRE AND NOTTS IS NOT ONLY FLYING 24/7!!!! it's having a fabulous new purpose built hanger, and dedicated buildings to accommodate the crew, the administration and trustees and the fund raising charity's hq and a dedicated slip road exit for the critical care car to join either the A15/A607 for when the weather or maintenance of the aircraft means it can't fly ,it's also been awarded almost £2000000 yes 2 MILLION pounds to get the project up and running ASAP and saving lives and lowering the risk of permanent disability and improving patients long term recovery. At present it has been on night time training flights with the crews wearing night vision goggles and flying around the county .... touching down and taking off in readiness for the real missions it will undertake, it's also introducing itself with the locals only approximately 100mtrs away with a fully equipped and flood lit landing pad also used in daytime for its life saving work. Its been incredible watching fly over Lincoln and Nottingham at night time and that searchlight on its belly is one mean mother of lights ,while walking my dog it pops up from nowhere and the area it illuminates well " BLACKPOOL GOLDEN MILE NO CONTEST". We know how lucky we are to have such an amazing Emergency response team both on the ground and in the air , please if you can just pop a few coins in any fundraising container scattered around the counties because one day or even NIGHT!!!!!!
