Wayyyy down South around the bottom west coast of the South Island, the kai moana grows huge down them ways too,had to be the cold water that does it,seen massive Pauas there as well.

just north of Eden in nsw we couldcatch 8 to 12 lb crays at the low tide mark undrt the forst ledge back in thr 1960s
