Dude 💯. I love that thing, totally agree. Can't wait to see what other sprints and exclusives come out for the shaman in the future. Take care, and God bless
Great video ! I agree , with all your points ! I know a lot of people get angry when they see others customize there knives …not sure why they get so upset about it , but I love it and it’s all a part of the hobby
Thank you so much for your support! Really appreciate that, my friend. Yeah no idea either haha. Makes the knives look and feel super high quality. Yeah for sure, it really has become a staple in the blade hobby 💯. Thank you @RockyMountainEDC. God bless
I m debating scales for the maxamet native 5 but the frn ones are ok for this knife . I took it apart . The lightweight with gray frn doesn’t even have washers but is smooth enough on the pivot hole and blade/lock . I’ve modded a half dozen Spydercos and am glad I did .
Dude the maxamet Spydercos are 🔥. I never once regreted putting after market scales on one of their knives. It does nothing, but add great ergonomics and a 'higher end' feel to the knife. Yeah man modding is really fun honestly. Thank you for commenting, God bless
@DuhYaThink I got some of the new Manix 2 xl AWT scales coming in the mail. Will do an installation video here soon, once they arrive. Super stocked to get those in hand!
I don’t customize any knife i own. I like spyderco’s pocket clips, same with all the other knives i have. If you don’t like something why buy it? Just sayin
That’s a crazy way to think.like changing out performance parts on a car. Stock exhausts sound okay but aftermarket ones can sound better! If I had the option to buy some of these knives without scales so I could get aftermarket ones I would most times. The stock scales are totally fine, but the ability to change them to something superior is why I buy them. Of course everyone has their personal preferences!
@@R2KNIVES uhhh yea which is why i said “i don’t customize any knife i own” Some peoples knives are cool after customization, but that isn’t me. I don’t customize my car either. But yea *personal* *preference*
@@sprinkleddonuts6094 I’ve probably owned 40 Spyderco PM2/Para3s over the years, I still have over 20 total… all of which are modified. I’ve never owned a stock performance car either. 😇 What I meant was, I buy a great knife and then purchase scales/hardware to make it excellent!! ✌️ 😇 ✌️
@@R2KNIVES cool good for you man not bashing on you cause you do. I own many knives as well, some you can’t buy anymore cause i bought them new in the 90’s. They are still stock. My spyderco’s are all stock Benchmades etc etc etc i like them the way they are. I don’t buy every single spyderco, benchmade, kizer, WE, Demko, Buck, Gerber, CRKT, i am very picky. That being said my spyderco’s only 2 of them are the regular version the other 18 are sprints and exclusives discontinued. All my knives are discontinued except my M390 QSP Hedgehog Exclusive, they all get used they all get rotated. No safe queens. None of them were purchased because of YT/TikTok trends etc. not saying you do or did. My *personal* *preference* is not to customize
