Agatha doesn't figure out whats happening to her when she is trapped in the Mare of Easttown fantasy. Wanda's death weakens the binding spell and the Teen breaks it using his incantation while Agnes is interrogating him. Love ur guys review/recaps
I had a fantastic time with the first two episodes, it's also fun to speculate how these characters have interacted before the events of the show and will interact in the future!!
I have been picking on Marvel’s writing and their treatment of writers so so long I must now say it was great to see a writer facing show and you can feel it! Here’s hoping it can keep it up!
I have two things I'm wondering about the Witches's road, first what did Agatha get when she reached the end because it said that the person who reaches the gets what they desire the most and second is if Agatha is lying about all of them being able to get the prize at the end and its setup so only one person in the group can get it at the end.
I noticed a thing, which is exciting cause I never catch stuff. The last shot of episode 2 shows the witches shoes. 5 pair are arranged like a pentagram, including the Teen, and Debra Jo Rupp’s shoes are not a part of the pentagram. So that’s true, thats the last shot, facts. So my Hayward/Mephisto theory is that Teen is Wiccan which would be the green/earth magic person and Mrs. Davis/Hart was just dragged along and wont survive very long. She was not singing in the circle, neither was Teen, but Teen was present in the house. Fun two episodes, enticing mystery, good show for Halloween.
My one word for the show so far - clever. Meant sincerely too. There has quite obviously been a lot of thought put in to all the little twists and reveals and the underlying current that seems to be playing just below that quite glorious energy that Kathryn Hahn is throwing out as Agatha. Really looking forward to more.
Pretty sure the "why here, why now" is gonna be the car accident that happened in Eastview right before Wanda's body appeared thar I'm guessing resulted in the death of boy named Billy Kaplan...
Yasssss kings!! I was patiently waiting for my Boys review!!! Let's go!! I really enjoyed it! An being a Vampire Guy, I really appreciated it!! Kathryn lit it up with that Ballad of the Witches Road!!! Wooo!!
Personally I’m very in the middle on this show so far. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great, just whelming. I’m curious to see if Plaza’s character ends up being Black Heart, but outside of that I just couldn’t get myself to care about the characters enough. (The neighbor was funny af though)
@@metallicnole4514It was the way she told Hahn that she had a “black heart” that got immediately got me thinking, and then the whole black heart drawn on the list instead of a name thing settled it for me. I know she’s playing a “new character,” but I think Plaza will just be a different take on & alias of Black Heart. I honestly think that would be cooler than getting Mephisto here, cuz it would set up Mephisto in a boss fight kinda way
@@famousthaneus9810 If aubrey plaza is blackheart and sasha baron cohen is mephisto, that would make a real powerhouse supernatural duo. It would certainly elevate the show if she was blackheart.
@@metallicnole4514I’m not going to go so far as to say it’ll elevate the show (at least for me), but it’ll at least cement it as important for whatever path the MCU’s supernatural journey takes. For me I just need the show to give me more reasons to feel something about these characters, or rather a why. Like why should I care that [obviously Wiccan] wants to obtain power? Why should I honestly care that Agatha wants/is panicky to regain hers? If they can give me more to emotionally gravitate towards, the show will be elevated a ton. That kind of stuff goes a lot further than the larger easter eggs (for me)
I’m now under the belief that a) Teen hexed Agatha so details about himself wouldn’t be revealed and b) he is her son…it’s the whole mention of Nicholas Scratch and the bedroom🤔
I liked these eps but not in love with the show yet, and not a fan of the Joe character so far maybe because I not want him to be Wanda's son as I am over them.
Thank goodness Teen isn’t snarky and annoying. He is very likable.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed these two episodes, very much hope they can stick the landing.
I enjoyed these opening episodes. Felt like coming home!
In multiverse of madness Wanda travels through reflective surfaces like water, that's why there's no foot prints because she came through the water.

The spoiler review I've been waiting for. these two eps got me hooked. can't wait to see where this show goes.
I think this show owes a lot to American Horror Story Coven. The tone of the witches all not liking each other is very reminiscent of that season.

Ooooooooooo. Hmmmmm. Ok. Will check it out again.
Chill on Shannon geek buddies, I love the Modern Warfare 2 lobby mic he’s using it’s brings some Gravitas 😂😂😂
I didn't know the last 2 episodes are before Halloween. My 50th birthday. Yay!
I am having a freaking blast with this show, will be fun to double that by watching your reactions.
I’m enjoying the show. Great casting all around. This is possibly my favorite role for Aubrey
I’m back, I can’t wait to hear this breakdown

So glad there are more Geek Buddy Breakdowns now woooooooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I saw an image of the Spanish subtitles for Agatha & it gives away who The Teen is. If you're curious, you can find it.
I thought it was alright. First episode was better than the 2nd. I heard it was gonna be like a twisted version of The Wizard of Oz 👠🌪️🐶🧙🏻
Pretty sure the "why here, why now" is gonna be the car accident that happened in Eastview right before Wanda's body appeared thar I'm guessing resulted in the death of boy named Billy Kaplan...
The Acolyte is already dead you don't have to still beat it.
Yep, Emmy nomination for Kathryn 😊
I find it funny that the show they referenced on the first episode is the show that basically won the Emmys that Wandavision could’ve won
Hahn gives me Hiddleston vibes on how she is really into this character having a ball
So in reality if Agatha was a villain, Audrey Plaza's character is a good guy??
Very possibly.
I loved everything about the show so far. Episode 2 was just great. The cast is amazing! As a side note, I loved Joe's accent.
Agatha sacrificed her & Rio's kid, aka Nicholas Scratch, to obtain the Darkhold. That's why she saw it in a crib.
Just what I've been waiting for, let the theories begin!
I'm loving it.

Welcome back
Missed you guys
From M&V&W
I liked the first 2 episodes and have been waiting for you guys to go over it
So is Rio, Blackheart? Too obvious?
Sorry, no Mephisto until Iron Heart. Really probably until the X-men have a movie.
I have to admit I was bit sceptical after episode 1 but enjoyed 2 a lot more.
Really liked it
This show had a great start! Let's hope it ends up as great, and no Ralph Boners...
What if Ms. Plaza is Blackheart.... figure they use that to describe her and figure marvel has the rights to that character now.
Why are you forgetting Loki Season 2 and Echo are AFTER Secret Invasion???
@39:20 YEAHHHHHH
You all should grow mustaches for oct
If only I could.

That's actually a great theory that I didn't think of yet seems obvious. With so much mephisto talk, blackheart wasn't something I even thought of

Who says “whelming”. lol
Wait? So the dead woman was Wanda?
Yea that’s why the name tag was W maximoff

I loved it within minutes and I called it that the body was Wanda just loves these witches and the opening credits rock!!! 🤍⚡️🖤🦋
Anyone please tell me if the show is an IGN 7 and if it is tell me why...
I think they gave it an 8
