  • Hi all! Today we have a route visual on Dublin Bus' Route 74 that starts at Eden Quay, Dublin City and finishes at Dundrum Luas. This route goes via: Eden Quay, Burgh Quay, Winetavern Street, Patrick Street, St. Luke's Avenue, Brickfield Lane, Coombe Hospital, Dolphin's Barn, Crumlin Road, Sundrive Road, Clogher Road, Slane Road, Bangor Road, Bangor Circle, Clonmacnoise Road, Lismore Road, Armagh Road, Cashel Road, Ravensdale Park, Poddle Park, Terenure Road West, Parkmore Drive, Terenure Garda Stn, Hannaville Park, Rathfarnham Road, Dodder Park Road, Rathfarnham Castle, Willbrook Road, Fonthill Park, Glendoher Road, Ballyboden Road, Moyville Lawns, Pearse Brothers Pk, Whitechurch Green, Glenmore Park, Grange Golf Club, Eden Avenue, Marley Park, Grange Road, Pine Valley, Kingston, Delbrook Park, Wesley College, Wyckham Way, Dundrum Centre, Holy Cross Church and Dundrum Luas. This route is operated from Dublin Bus Donnybrook depot. Route 74 is around 1 hour long for the full route. The bus was SG233, a Volvo B5TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 from 2016. Enjoy the video!

      @liibaanstransportvideos5598 there's much better routes than it, the 74 would be one of the last routes I'd get unless it was ev or ax

      ⁠@@dublinbusmerchantthe 74 is a great route in general it’s just that it’s like the 61 where it doesn’t get the best buses

    the 74 was only created so people. could link up with other routes across the city,there are quicker ways to Dublin City from dundrum and vice versa .eg. route 14 and the luas.

    Fun fact the original 74 was replaced by the no. 54a in the 30s

    The new 74 is one crap bus service with very long waits i live along the route so after standing in the rain for up to 40 mins several times im back driving again after 15 years traveling from Crumlin to Dundrum
