i actually thought that he was an american kid... but nice to find out that he's british... all that it took was one viral youtube video to set up the fledgling musical career of young australian guitarist taj farrant... hopefully if jake works at it and stays the test of time he too can work out a future career for himself ...but as they say it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll.

Yes, Jake played before 30,000 people at the Carfest, with the RPJ Band (featuring the son of one of the founders of Status Quo) and what is amazing, beyond his playing, is his confidence in front of the audience. His Dad is a gem, recognizing his son's talent and helping him along the way. Once Jake moves from covers to originals, he will be a monster! His command of fretwork at the age of ten is truly astounding.

Just seen Jake (15/10/2024), Reminded me of a documentary about Nigel Kennedy, playing violin when he was 10. Both unbelievably talented. Jake, you don't need to aspire to be a muscian, you already are! I can't wait to see the creativity that will follow. Just be careful to stay away from the pitfalls fame and money sometimes bring. I wish you every success (not that my wishes will be needed!!)

Actually it's easier to learn guitar at that young age. I started at 10 and within months could play songs by ear.
