This classic LP was recorded on August 11th, 1954 at Capitol Studios (formerly the KHJ Building), which was located at 5515 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, California. Personnel: Clifford Brown, trumpet; Herb Geller, alto sax; Joe Maini, alto sax; Walter Benton, tenor sax; Kenny Drew, piano; Curtis Counce, bass; Max Roach, drums. Produced by Bob Shad. I still have the original monaural LP issue, two copies, which I bought on December 30th, 1970 and May 3rd, 1973. BROWNIE SPEAKS!!!
