This video actually helped me most trying to decide to buy it or not. Currently sitting on my hands for the email that says it's in the mail! I live in Texas and down here there are dozens of modded si's and type r's but most of them run similar setups and I have actually never seen or heard this setup anywhere down here. Most people have never even heard of it at all. On top of wanting to try something new, the way it sounds at idle and shifts are incredible and i'm way too excited for this to come in. May pair it with the 27won intake and rear motor mount but already this exhaust will be a huge improvement on the cars tone I hope! Thanks for posting this!!
Awesome!! Yea you won’t be disappointed with the new volume and tone of the exhaust! Plus it looks amazing in my opinion. AWE is pretty well known for exhausts in a ton of other car communities and I believe this is the first time they’ve dabbled into the civic community but don’t quote me on that. I’ve been please with the purchase so far and plus it comes with a front pipe upgrade with the exhaust!
Thanks for such a comprehensive exhaust clip! I’ve been on the fence about this exhaust too. The tone sounds nice but I’m just worried about it being too loud/drony since I’ll be driving it everyday😬
Raptor I was the same way before I made my purchase. With all the options on the market it’s tough to make a decision and not actually hear what it sounds like until it’s bolted onto your car and not a sound clip. The track edition is loud but not overwhelmingly loud to the point where you can’t stand it anymore. At cruising speeds in not bad. The droning only happens on high rpm downshifts and up shifts, but again it’s not terrible. I wanted a loud exhaust since this is my first modded car and wanted to go big haha. Definitely worth it through AWE though because you get the 3” front pipe included. If you’re not wanting as loud inside the cabin then I’d recommend considering the touring edition that claims to have drone canceling technology built into it, only thing is its more money. I purchased the track with a backup plan of buying the touring conversion kit if I really couldn’t stand the drone. So far I’m very happy with the tone and like I said the drone is not unbearable when it is present. Plus the triple tip in black diamond looks the best out of all the exhaust options I’ve seen for our car.
Timothy Smith I definitely see where you’re coming from with the first modded car thing haha. I was actually about to pull the trigger after reading your reply but I just found out that I bent one of my rims. The money I had saved up for the exhaust is now gonna be going towards new rims and better tires. What luck amirite😂
Sounds awesome. I have the touring version but I’m thinking of converting to the track. Dumb question, but do you still get the pops and burbles with track setup?
Good ol’ eBay. Just search around eBay and make sure you’re getting the correct size for your car. For example the coupe’s front and back emblem are the same size where the sedan has a smaller front emblem than the rear. Check the civicx forum for more clarification! Hope this helps!
Hey do you have any problems with your exhaust not staying centered? I have the dual tip and the exhaust seems to be a tad loose fitting at the very end not sure if you have some issue or not?
No I haven’t had any issues with that. Maybe check your exhaust hangers and making sure they’re snug. Also check the little Allen wrench ring AWE sends that helps keep the exhaust from moving. Make sure it’s also snug
Just installed mine today and I got to say sounds very nice. I just had a question to ask. Have you ever scrapped that lower part of the exhaust. I’ve only had it for a day and I seem to scrape on rare occasions.
@@LPskate14 Wanted to ask did you have to modify the heat shield? I was told that the heat shield is close to the front pipe. That might be the culprit to my problem. It’s like a vibration/rattle in first gear. When starting to move.
No I didn’t need to modify it. Might just need to bend it a tad to get more clearance but it’s a very malleable piece that you can just push with your hand. Should be easy to do if that’s the spot.
Link to what? Where to buy it? You can go to Awe Tuning’s website or there’s a number of other auto performance sites that sell it too like MAPerformance for example

This exhaust sounds great lovely car
Cre8tiveGarage thanks so much! Just workin at it slowly adding to it when I can!
We excited to see more car is super clean

Dang that’s a bummer! But at least you had money saved up to get new wheels! Which is going to make your car look great!
That is fucking music to my ears my man
Last question but did you delete anything before you installed this setup?
Sounds awesome. I have the touring version but I’m thinking of converting to the track. Dumb question, but do you still get the pops and burbles with track setup?
Of course, probably more since there’s no muffler
Nice coupe bro sounds sick, i was looking for red badges for my coupe, where did you find yours?

Timothy Smith thanks man yeah it helped a lot, I wasn’t sure if coupe and sedan had same size or not so thanks for the help!
So sick bro this is exactly how I want mine to sound like, how much is it??
Track edition is about $1000. That includes a 3” front pipe as well

sounds and looks great. Stock dp?
Yea in this video this is a stock dp! Thanks!! Check my other video for a the same exhaust with a prl downpipe
Just installed mine today and I got to say sounds very nice. I just had a question to ask. Have you ever scrapped that lower part of the exhaust. I’ve only had it for a day and I seem to scrape on rare occasions.
I have not scraped. My suggestion would be to play with twisting the pipe that goes from the resonator and back to bring it up closer to the chassis
@@LPskate14 alright will do thanks for the reply.
Let me know if I can help

Is there a muffler or a resonator on the exhaust or is it just a straight pipe from the cat back?
There is 1 resonator for both the track and touring edition. However; the touring edition has a muffler in addition to the one resonator
@@LPskate14 do you have the link to the one without the muffler

What would you recommend? Like how do you feel about a quad instead of a triple?
I prefer 3 or 2. 4 reminds me of a corvette look which the Si doesn’t fit that style in my opinion
@@LPskate14 yea I like this setup a lot and now I’m definitely getting this one
Yo bro, where did you find the red emblems that fit the coupes?
eBay
Am I able to use whatever brand downpipe w this exhaust?
Yea should be able to!
Does this exhaust have a resonator on it?
Yes it does!
does this exhaust require a tune since it’s the track version ?
No
appreciate the response
Is the sound different with dual or triple tips option?
Don’t believe so just looks
@@LPskate14 When you said some slight droning inside cabin, what are the few specific rpm and speed combinations range?
looks like the center tip will collect all the carbon and the sides will remain shiny. it looks and sounds so nice though.
Is this the axleback? Or a catback?
Catback!
What downpipe and front pipe?
In this clip there is the stock downpipe, Awe full 3” front pipe and Awe 3” exhaust
I never understood the 3 exhaust design
Maybe it just doesn’t understand you? 🤷🏻♂️
will this fit 1.5t cvt?
Not sure. I’ve never had a cvt
Do you have catted or catless down pipe
Catted
catless?
Catted
Bad drone? Was it with the 800?
No bad drone and what is the 800?
What's with people putting these 3 and 4 tip exhausts on honda civics?
“People”? You realize the type r comes stock with a 3 tip design right? It fits the space who cares lol it looks and sounds good
