So I ended up doing them awhile ago and did them again and tried to figure out the pattern Terms ch - chain Hdc : half double crochet dc : double crochet BLO : back loop only Slst : slip stitch R1 - ch 3 and slst in very first ch R2 - ch 1 , sc 4 in middle hole and slst R3 - ch 1 , sc 4 and slst into first sc or slst 2 front loops together R4 - ch 1, 1 sc , 1 hdc, (1 dc BLO) 1 hdc , 1 sc , slst (your slst should be behind your first sc you made) Repeat and add a dc each row - ch 1, 1 sc, 1 hdc, (2 dc BLO) 1 hdc, 1 sc , slst I’d stuff it along the way Hope this helped anyone wanting to do this pattern!!
Hey girl! I really have not figured out this pattern and I'm going wild... Do you think we could direct message so I can ask you a couple of questions I have?
Yeah, cause there was triple crochets and multiple skipped stitches going on and that was nowhere in the the video pattern she made. She was skipping stitches without explanation and I’m more of a moderately experienced/intermediate crocheter and she was going too fast for even me to comprehend what was happening. Omg it was so hard to follow!
@@jovelyncrochet that just didn’t look quite right and my OCD for detail just wasn’t having it, so I resorted to teaching myself to crochet it left handed 🤣💀🤣💀🤦🏻♀️
Simple really, in the beginning you have to flip your work inside out. Just don't, continue crocheting the rows and you'll have a horn curling the other way.
Is there anyway you could either explain the stitches as you go . I don’t know why I’m having so much trouble doing this. It’s like I don’t have room for the stitches. I’ve been trying for days now. Please help somehow. Show me and please explain as if I were a child. Might help.🌹
Hi Jocelyn is there way to make a tiny one of these? I’m being really ambitious as I’ve just started but I want to learn and this looks so beautiful! I’m trying to make a primitive goat stuffy and these horns are perfect because they even have the rings
Agree with this person, i feel like you can get lost really easy and theres no explanations that are clear and what to add and what not to add in each round
I don't know if this will help, but to increase you can either place 2 double crochet in one stitch for an increase or the stitch that was created from the previous slip stitch you can make that stitch where you place your single crochet each time. I did that and it worked out. Try it and see these method may work for you.
Such a great pattern but done so horribly. No markings how many stiches are there at the end, no instructions on how to do increases. But good horns overall, the best probably
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Really needed to make a pair of horns for a hat I'm designing. But I turned them into ram horns by changing the pattern slightly to get more of a rounded curl. Just one question though, I've looked carefully at your video but can't for the life of me see where you've made the increases in each row. Can you tell me where you made your increases?
@@Sen_Saii Aaah, that would explain. I couldn't figure it out and just increased at the opposite side during the doubles. Anywho. After about +-18 rows, I start of the next row with a slip stitch, then a single, then a half double. Then all the doubles and then just do the opposite of the other side, like half double, single, slip and finish of your row as normal. The slip stitches makes a rounder horn. you could increase the amount of slip stitches if you want as long as the whole row just increases by one extra stitch at a time. I usually work by feeling. I was amazed when both my horns came out fairly similar. lol.
@@fabulousilver okay I think I see! Instead of slip stitching at the beginning of the row and then doing the sc, hdc, and dc, I would slip stitch at the beginning and then do another slip stitch in the next st, then begin the sc, hdc, dc sequence starting in the next stitch?
Hello! This is amazing. Question tho, hindi ba lumalabas ung fiberfill sa double crochet? I also messaged you in IG hope we can connect as i might need to orde sets of these. Thanks
So I ended up doing them awhile ago and did them again and tried to figure out the pattern
Terms ch - chain
Hdc : half double crochet
dc : double crochet
BLO : back loop only
Slst : slip stitch
R1 - ch 3 and slst in very first ch
R2 - ch 1 , sc 4 in middle hole and slst
R3 - ch 1 , sc 4 and slst into first sc or slst 2 front loops together
R4 - ch 1, 1 sc , 1 hdc, (1 dc BLO) 1 hdc , 1 sc , slst
(your slst should be behind your first sc you made)
Repeat and add a dc each row - ch 1, 1 sc, 1 hdc, (2 dc BLO) 1 hdc, 1 sc , slst
I’d stuff it along the way
Hope this helped anyone wanting to do this pattern!!
Someone needs to give you a RUclips MVP medal. Much thanks!!

Would you be able to make a tutorial with commentary? I am having a really hard time following what’s going on. I am so sorry 💙
She doesn't indicate that you should work in the back loop of the stitch 😅
Great pattern! Just wish there was a pattern to make the second one going in the opposite direction
Just the same pattern, you can twist the horn to the other side for you have left side or right side. 😉

I’m struggling to see how you’ve gotten the work to increase in width without using increases? Unless you have and it’s not clear? Love the design!!
always add 1 single crochet before end.
Thank you, Merci, Danke!!!🌞🌻🌞❤🌷❤

yes you can make it shorter, you dont need to complete the rows.
@@jovelyncrochet thank you so much! Your work is stunning! I’ll give it a try ❤️🐐
how should i adjust the pattern for bulky yarn? I want to add these ones to a balaclava I'm making with an 8mm hook

Unclear , can't see where to increase.??? , and total stiches after each round??

Just don't flip the work inside out at the beginning and continue with the pattern.
