Thank you for your very informative piece . I bent the landing gear further forward and a touch out too and maiden landings where great , pilot walked out the plane instead of crawling out !!! … Wish is could fly it inverted though ! Thank you again 👍
Just maidened mine today, maidened with 4 point rolls, inverted, loops and stall turns (and this from a guy who took up RC only about 4 months ago) absolutely love my Slowpoke :) :) Dont get me wrong it snap turns if you're too heavy handed in the turns and needs a little throttle to bring it in for a smooth landing (on our grass runway atleast) but its a great little plane
Antgra Nn started with an Easystar II, now have a Catalina, SlowPoke, F27 Stryker and a small Eflite Flying Wing.....looking at something aerobatic as my next step to learning....may try a home built FT Extra
granthug one or two......mainly in the Easystar, but they’re easily repairable 👍🏻 had a bad one with the Stryker (rudders were reversed and hadn’t noticed till a high speed stall) but that’s back up again......foam and electric is the best for learning, eventually I’d like to move to IC and balsa but that’s a long learning curve off for now 😄
You've got the wheels in backwards. There is a bend in the landing gear and the bend should go backwards not forwards. The reason for bounces and ground loops in a tail dragger is because the cg is too far behind the wheels. The wheels should be as close to the cg as possible to prevent these.
Take it up a few hundred feet and shut off the motor. Learn how to glide it. It will fly like a kite if you have some wind. Then you will have experience with slower speeds and landings will be slower and smoother. Your landing was great but a little fast. Go out just a few hundred feet and come in slower and lower. Level out and let it sink naturally. Don't fly it into the landing. If you give it any power over the concrete you will be going too fast. Thanks for sharing! Sorry, I didn't see this vid date. I saw it almost a year later.
Try bending the wheel struts a little further apart and switch to aftermarket wheels. It helps a lot!

TerribleGamer Productions what was your first plane?

@@UKVoodooUK that's pretty cool in such a short time. Have you had many crashes? I am yet to get my first.

I would try softer wheels to absorb the bounce when landing.

Got a red one. Very hard to take off with and bouncy landings. Quite affected by the wind. Rate it as 5/10
You need more stick time on it...i got mine figured out after alot of practice figuring out its Nature.
I find it easy to fly, nice and slow on a 3 cell battery but will fly vertically with a 2200mA 4 cell and quite fast. Great little plane.
Cool little plane. Looks like a fun flyer.

Maybe some Dave Brown wheels will help with the bounce issue.
3S or 4S ?
3S
@@rcgvideos I took off for the mainden with 3S it was a disaster but the plane did not break LOL
bad that happened, good it didn't break. 3S is more than enough power, so maybe something else went wrong.
@@rcgvideos may be the CG and reversed ailerons. Oh well will try this weekend, thanks.
A lot of ppl are having poor quality servo issues with it .
Nice
