cause there really good, the main reason shen and kim are so loved is because they're so offence and speed based in a series about great pressure and sneaky pokes into damaging combos, hell shen can do 100% with 6 hits, dont get me wrong, i'm not saying they suck, hell terry has the most 100%'s in the game, and ralf can make your life fucking miserable with just a heavy punch, and a devastatingly easy hd cancel combo, its just that they (shen kim and chin) are so fucking fast and have shit tons of power to boot with the cost being no projectile
They choose character with really fast frame data. Grappler have no place in KoF XIII, only speed, combo and drive cancel are what matters on high tier play. Othwerise SNK quite sucks balancing KoF XIII, develop it already cost them quite amount of money. Let alone fix it

Everyone would pick Ex Iori, Mr. Karate and Kim, the game became boring to watch and even maybe to play. I still play the game, my team is Ex Kyo, Leona and Elisabeth. I like the fact that this series didn't go 3D like SF did, but the hi-res 2D doesn't look even nearly as good as KOF97/98 for example.
