Looks so much better. The mismatching trim would have bothered me too. Lol pretty cool that they had optional carbon trim. I need one of those airbag light killers for mine. I ended up using an s13 hub on my maxima. Thats the great thing about 90s -early 00s japanese cars.
Yeah dude, basically all the parts are somewhat interchangable. Here's the link to the airbag light delete. www.amazon.com/dp/B009PA5HIG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I'm headed to japan in mid may. I've been in contact with G-corp over a custom 5pc set of mats for my jzx100 chaser. They are doing their discontinued gold and black (similar gold color to top secret) plus the old obake metal plates instead of the tag. insanely excited
your horn only needed one wire? weird mine has two unsure what one is but one was an earth and it was wrapped around the steering wheel bolt that holds it to the aftermarket hub? im reverting mine to OEM unsure of the wiring i have tho any ideas?
I notice the link for the handle surrounds aren't linked in the description. I feel like I just spoiled the next 13 minutes of anticipation for myself.
Also want to know this. I have a Works Bell that doesn't fit in the horn/airbag electrical ring so I have to remove that and so I have no good way to wire the horn in.
@@noahsuarez5527 it is attached with screws. I ended up getting a Works Bell 535 which does work with the wiring ring to keep the horn wiring. It also comes with a cap to keep the airbag warning light from lighting up.
You're probably right. That's the good thing about Toyota's a ton of parts are interchangable sure. I'll snag a set off ebay right now if they aren't too pricey.

That’s freaking amazing.
This is looking so damn good!
Thank you!
This video is mega helpful bro, keep it up man!!
Thank you very much. We are stoked to make these on the chaser.
Clean Chaser! Subbed! May I ask what size is that steering wheel?
Thanks for the sub! That means a ton to us. It's a 340mm wheel, a tad small for the Chaser but it totally works well.
@@CoolGuyClub thanks 🙏
do you know if the airbag light is on, will your airbags still work in the event of an accident?
Airbag light isn’t on. Yea they all work. This is just giving the sensor the correct voltage reading at the steering wheel to not trigger a light
where did you get those floormats I'm interested in getting some for my jzx100
You can snag them from rhdjapan.com. They took a while to ship but it was worth the wait.
@@CoolGuyClub for the hub for the steering wheel will a cresta one work or do you have the link for the hub you used
We are using a generic Toyota one and it works, I just trimmed the side tabs so it would clear the airbag collar. A cresta one should work just fine.

Yes only one needed. It was the same in my Subaru legacy.
Can you still get these interior trim pieces? I need to replace some of mine 😢
You can. You just gotta search
Hey man question, where did you buy all that carbon trim from???
Ordered it from Japan. It was on yahoo auctions.
I notice the link for the handle surrounds aren't linked in the description. I feel like I just spoiled the next 13 minutes of anticipation for myself.
You did, lol those didn't work. However I got new ones on the way and I'll link those (if they work)
Hi I was wondering where you got the airbag light delete?
Believe it or not, they sell these on amazon and on etsy.
hey where did you get all the brand new trim if you dont mind me asking
I don’t mind at all. They are from Yahoo auctions japan through buyee.
What 6spd swap you’re doing ?
Planning on doing an R154 swap once we finish the Sequoia build.
Which boss kit is that for the chaser?
JZX100 / JZX90 I think. It was a gift and all google translate said was "Toyota" so I made it work.
What website you get those floor mats?
Rhdjapan sells them so does yahoo auctions (buyee)
@@CoolGuyClub thank you I’m planning on getting some for my chaser once it arrives
I miss the pnw sometimes
I miss Cali too. The winters and gloom here are getting to me.
What hub did you use??
Also want to know this. I have a Works Bell that doesn't fit in the horn/airbag electrical ring so I have to remove that and so I have no good way to wire the horn in.
I used a toyota hub from Boss. I had to machine out the outer flanges a bit to get it to fit but it only took 5 mins or so.
@@akleperp i have the same hub i just tired to change it
@@akleperp how did you take off the electric ring

the door handles look a lot like 2000 rav4 door handles...

Where did you get the carbon pieces, been looking for a while and cant find them.
Yahoo auction japan. Look for a complete set, it will save you money and a headache in the long run.
@@CoolGuyClub Alright thank you.
