In short Programming is not required however programming combined with hacking skills will be an advantage

Good motivational video Zaid! I was confinced that it was essential to know web development programming languages like javascript, in order to be a skilled ethical hacker. And was struggling with it as it's so much more difficult to reach the serverside, compared to php. But there are so many ports on a server besides the 80 and 443. Also, for RCE,RFI/LFI, XSS etc. basic HTML is enough to know imho. I do notice that security firms prefer experience with (AWS) Cloud Services and CISCO firewall knowledge which I think is difficult to obtain outside a (big) company environment. Any video about Cloud Services (the basiscs or purely theory based) would be very appreciated.
Fair for a pen tester role. Many of them end up learning coding to create at least some simple scripts.
The “cyber security” is a huge filed. With many different focuses and specializations. Learning programming can make you not only a better hacker but could help to progress, change focus and build a career.
For prodsec and appsec being a programmer is a must have skill. Since they not only need to know how to find/test vulnerabilities but should be able to fix them or guide the developers on how to do it. They also need to know to protect the code, and to do this both hacking skills/mindset and coding skills are required. And this might be a great way to grow for some people.
You are a great mentor and a guide, I am doing your ethical hacker course from scratch. Love all your content and I hope to be a great ethical hacker one day

Great point about programming and hacking - if you don't know how to hack, learning every programming language in the book won't necessarily make you a good hacker. But learning how to hack, then picking up some programming skills will greatly increase your skillset.
I'm approaching this the other way around....taking your course on hacking to be a better programmer.
I started from Zaid's Ethical hacking course from Udemy, ended up getting OSCP, CEHv11 now preparing for OSWE. Forever grateful.

Only man who gave answer to my question I have asked almost 10 people's but this is the only person who answered my question and at point like everyone says you need to learn programing then hack and this and that I know programing is necessary to write tools and scripts but my question was can I develop my hacking skills and then learn some languages because if I would start learning programing now so that field have no end you need to learn 5 to 8 languages that's not possible for us and we would become programmer rather than hacker
