      Yes happens in every country. Nobody just gonna allow flashy sexpats to travel to their poor countries and bang all their women without taking advantage of it. You're in a dirty business so expect the dirt.

    Here is a other tip if you are at a apartment that doesn't have a guard make sure you get a picture of the girls identification card so you can send it to your friend who's close by in case anything happens to you

    I just got back from Medellin a week ago. It was actually my second time time in the last 3 months. From what I've gathered treat it like you in "the hood" and you'll be fine.

    I was going to bring a girl up to my hotel room and they ask for her Cedula at the front desk and return it upon leaving. She told them she didn’t have one. Huge red flag!
    They would not let her enter without ID.

    Yo, I’m heading to Medellin in a week or so. And I’ve been talking to a girl from over there. We’ve been talking for a while. She seems authentic. No red flags from her part. I’ve reserved an apartment studio for us to stay in during my time in Medellin. I’m staying like 8 days there. She’ll be at the airport and we’ll literally take an Uber to the apartment. Is there any advice you can give me in my case? Precautions? Thanks, bro!

    I noticed you have a Sony Camera in your other videos, I’m currently planning a trip to Medellin with my mirrorless camera to take city scape photos all over the city, should I avoid certain neighborhoods? Or do you think I should just abandon the whole idea of shooting in the streets of Medellin? I’m planning to stay in the el poblado area

    • @norulestravel
      @norulestravel  3 года назад +1

      Well that's a tough one... Can't get good photos / videos if the camera is in the house... Just be quick and use your best judgement.. stay in the south of the city...

    Never show your wealth in Colombia there is a Colombian proverb that says if you get robbed it is because you wanted it I was often in Colombia especially in Medellin I leave my watch at home I never take my high end phone with me just a cell phone that takes great photos and maximum $ 50 cash required for normal dress and I can assure you thieves don't even pay attention to me

    Number one rule, "NO HAY QUE DAR PAPAYA", don't be a mark. No 2 rule. Act like a local. No 3 rule. Hire a local guide. If you intentions are drugs and prostitution; stay in your own country where there are plenty of prostitutes and drugs to choose from. . Medellin has 4 million inhabitants with many neighborhoods from strato 1 (the poorest) to strato 6 (the richest). Stay in 4 and 5. I have been visiting Colombia for the last 40 years and never had any problems. The US has more cities and black ghettos where you can get robbed and kill easy, such as Chicago, Baltimore, Miami, Los Angeles and the count is long. Stay safe.
