Not gonna say much, but I will say. Think about this, she died suddenly which happens in real life, and does happen throughout one piece here and there. Also she dies sharpening her sword, it needed sharpening cause she and Zoro fought. That’s why the father seemed confused as to why she needed to sharpen her sword cause he didn’t know bout them fighting. So in a sense Zoro lead to her death. It’s twisted and messed up but this backstory shows us that sometimes life isn’t so gentle.
YaBoyRockLee haha hey it’s good to have the brain juices a flowing especially for one piece since mostly everything does lead to something! And I’m not gonna confirm if she’s dead or not, but like I said sometimes things will happen in one piece very suddenly with very little explanation. Doesn’t happen much and when it does it’s not due to lazy writing or a plot hole it’s simply relating it to how the real world sometimes works.
@@VulcanEditing lol you CAN'T confirm if she's dead or not. You say that like you have inside knowledge, and you don't. Kuina's story has ended right here with no further hints or suggestions about it whatsoever. The only thing we have beyond her is the fact that Tashigi is a dead-ringer lookalike for Kuina, which has also never once been shown to mean anything, despite fan speculation.
The thing with the guy in the box. Even if he joined the crew, he wasn’t getting out of the box. He’s been in it for so long (20 years) that basically his body has adjusted and settled in that position. So when Luffy tried pulling him out and he was telling him he couldn’t get out, that’s why. Also, naturally the human body will start to fuse with the box. Skin cells are constantly dying and growing so as they skin cells grow, they connect to the box. There’s a story about a woman who was stuck on the toilet for years and her skin started to fuse with the toilet. So both his body and skin adjusted to him being in that box. The human body is an amazing thing.
I think everyone who watched episode 19 had the same reaction as you did. And I think Kuina's death is very sad, because when she finally found a goal in her life, she ended up dying.
Backstories are one of the best things in OP. It's not just for the Strawhats. Minor characters also have a lot of time dedicated to their backstories and Oda manages to excel at each new one. A 13 chapters long backstory just ended in the manga. I can't wait to see it in the anime a year from now. (It would be a year without a pandemic, now it will probably take longer)
You guys said Kuina from Zoro's backstory must not be dead because they didn't show her body, in the manga they show her with a towel over her face after she died if no one told you that.
Love the series guys let's enjoy the journey. Btw expect waki and funny shit always. Oda's sense of humour is great and he wants to the viewers to have fun go in an adventure and enjoy the emotions their characters bring to the manga/anime. ODA is know for his unic style of drawing. As you can see he puts imagination and no limits in his designs.
Guys, they DO show the body and they said she died from falling down the stairs. Which just so it's clear, is NOT a euphemism in Japanese for suicide. That's literally all there is to this. Kuina's death is meant to show how fragile life is. I also think y'all may have missed the implication: the whole reason she needed a whetstone was because Zoro challenged her to a fight with real swords, something they'd never done before (and weren't actually allowed to do, that's why they were fighting outside at night). She went down the stairs either that night or the next morning in order to sharpen her sword because it was dulled from their duel. So the implication here is that she wouldn't BE dead if Zoro had not challenged her. (She died the very next day after their made their promise).
I just realized that ep 18 kinda hypothesise the empty boxes as one piece. Here gaimon can be seen as those pirates who's longing for one piece, and the empty boxes as 'one piece', which may or may not be real. Tho by this time oda already confirmed one piece existence.
@@YaBoyRockLee how was arlong park for you so far? when i watched it as a kid i was just about the fighting scenes, but rewatching it i noticed the deepness behind it all .... go d damn that is like 15 years ago when i watched it for the first time :'D time is running so fast and looking back to that old scenes and arc is much more amazing the more you the story is growing. wish you a nice day btw :)
Setting aside if her death was real or suicide or faked.. in Zoro's mind she'll be the one person that was better than him that he'll never be able to beat.
LOL Oda never once said it's hard to draw different designs for female characters, and if he ever were to say that, he's full of crap. There's not a thing about drawing females that is somehow fundamentally different or more difficult than drawing male characters. It's nothing but a choice he makes. Please don't be so damned gullible.
hi, in japanese, falling from stairs is a way to say she commits suicide. She was desperate about being a girl that even her promises with zoro can't help her distress. She commits suicide with her sharpened sword
No. No, this is absolutely not true. It is NOT a euphemism for suicide in Japanese and it never has been. This is a nonsense lie that the One Piece fandom made up.
It's a nonsense theory based on the falsehood that falling down the stairs is a euphemism in Japanese for committing suicide. That's NOT true. There's zero reason for people to think she killed herself, too, even without that b.s. fabrication. The theories about her being a clone at least have some actual basis in the story. But there's no reason whatsoever for people to think she suicided.
find it funny how in the est ppl are blind to the fct you can't change biolagy EVEN AT HER SKILL BEING 100% at some point she will hit the ceiling where physical strengh will be the determ.. factor and there when both combatants that trained to 100% both in skill nd physical ability that 10-15% difference in mass and strengh would be the deciding factor.Hve pride in your kids but from ppl wwho work in industries where those fctors determine life or death that foolish equality pride can lead to tragic results,I've seen it enough times not to fall for this western bs.
