This guy has money, he'll be fine. He'll probably rebuild right where he is.
There is no rebuilding there. The shoreline is gone.
3 house on the beach and DeSantis in his pocket!
@@kayleen9110, this never stopped man before, so why should it now? God is wise. And without God's wisdom, we, mankind cannot navigate with wisdom.
The caveat &/or 'take away' is found in Matthew 7:25, as you may be familiar with.

@@brucemoyers1006 it's true though. Most Floridians can't afford homeowners insurance if they can even find a company to cover them. But this guy has 3 insured beachfront properties? How? I bet it's huge donations to DeSantis.
So sad! My sister went through the destruction of Ian in Cape Coral and most of the focus was Southwest Florida. Now we're thinking of loved ones on the Atlantic side. I'm having flashbacks of the 3 hurricanes in 2004. We're kinda boring here in the middle of the state but are fairly safe as long as a massive oak doesn't fall down in these storms. Love to visit the ocean but that's it.
When we get out of the bus that takes us to hell we will think we are in paradise. Heaven will just be a grey day in England.
This has been happening since....the beginning of this planet.
💯
It amazes me that the pool w/ poles and that extended part of the house w/ poles under are all still there. Whomever did that work, hire em. The vids and pics are better than any ads or PR u could get.
Castles built on sand never last.
Brave brave man. I know I would be crying about such loss. God bless him and prosper him.
He owns 3 waterfront homes? Not anymore....
Greed

@@brucemoyers1006 exactly.
I hope you all some happiness and to find a better safer place to make home. I know I love Florida more than anywhere too so its hard to see for everyone, I would be in tears but I pray all of you people will be safe and find a home. Have some blessings!
Unbelievable this storm did that amount of damage.
Sand doesn’t hold up 😎
Very sorry for all the people that are experiencing loses from Hurricanes.. It was a terrible experience.
Owns 3 homes now gone…….. heartbreaking
I dont feel bad for that guy, theres a reason you dont build a house on sand. He lives in one n probably rents out the other 2, his cash cows! The houses are gone, the property is gone now, so i guess he has nothing to rebuild on, if he wanted to, right?
I'm sure it was insured for millions.
Nope, they’ll bring in sand, which is all that’s missing ….and reinforce with steel and a moat
I’ve never had a better view. Good attitude.
Ian started the wrecking ball as far as erosion is concerned, Nicole followed too close b4 recovery from the first one. Sorry for any losses to the people. God bless America.❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wilbur and Nicole's beach, Beeech.. Nature taking back whats rightfully hers
Im not 100% certain but I dont think those are "poles" holding up the pool. I suspect that those are concrete footings, possibly steel reinforced that were drilled down and put in before the pool was placed there to help keep it from cracking apart. The sand washed away and those footings are what remains.
Oui c'est vrai
I'm on the Atlantic all the time it's nothing to play with the day a cat five comes that's gonna be the end of everything
Yeah Ian was extremely close to being a cat 5 winds were 2 miles an hour from being a cat 5.
This is unbelievable, and very sad. I am now worrying about devastating earthquakes in California may be happening soon.
Oh my GOD! is correct. He sends the storms.
Too much COMFORT experienced by people often causing them losing SPIRITUAL INTERESTs in God, eternity, need of prayers, goal of salvation soul, our need to stay humble in our earthly journey.
Is there going to have the building code changed there?

I realize location location location but find some solid rock or limestone to build a house on. Yet look at Halifax homes built on rocks but the surge was so high and strong they too we damaged. Hope they rebuild inland.
What a naive man.
living almost in the ocean and you are like how this happend?
Don't build your home on a sandy foundation🤷♂️
New Yorkers trying to build McMansions on the water, STOP!

Prayers 🙏 for all.
Prayers make only the prayer feel good about doing nothing. The prayers themselves don't do anything for the disaster victims. Pathetic
Good thing not the cat4 that hit us on the west coast 🙏of Florida
These damaged properties should not be blaming the hurricane alone this damage happened because poor zoning allowing people to build in a known flood prone area without building a proper engineered Seawall. And not raising the land before allowing Land Development. Many of the homes that were damaged on the west coast particularly that of Fort Myers. We'll have to raise their property level before rebuilding. It is very unfortunate that people have to go through this and it is Florida code enforcement and zoning department that should bear the responsibility. Remember everything built has to be permitted so obviously Fort Myers City or the state of Florida should be held accountable. Unfortunately I guarantee you this will all happen again eventually unless proper measures are taken to correct it now. And prevent it from happening again in the future by not allowing to build below sea level especially so close to the shores. Anyone that is building on a Barrier Island especially a new home should be required to have the home at a proper height so that in the event there is another storm surge not so much damage is done. Otherwise the land should be turned back into natural Preserve and not allowed to be built on. A builder will only build to code and what they are required to build. So for the interest of safety for everyone in the future definite changes must be made. Particularly that of zoning and permit office as well as code enforcement.
This hurricane season isn't over, that water isn't any cooler?
Well, on a positive note: This guy owns three ocean front properties. Meanwhile, people who work hard and have no health insurance and get sick lose their only homes every day. What was that Prince song....."When Rich People Cry"? Okay, I think it was "When Doves Cry".....anyway, this guy will "recover" fine. And he can afford to gamble and build another house right on the ocean - what the hell, eh? Somehow this is unfortunate, in my view, but not heartbreaking.
Why don't they have health insurance? The Affordable Care Act is available for everyone. If you are low income they subsidize your premium payments.
@@exoressdelivers70 I answered but this Fox News channel deleted me answer. What a shock. Do some research - that's all I'll say.
Wilbur now is the sea
Damn, alot of haters in here...i doubt sincerely that he actually BUILT the homes...i surf right out front of there...all you haters sound jealous
My hart goes out to all of you . God gave you both Hurricanes and DeSantis In my thoughts and prayers.
Sounds like this community needs a fresh start! I suggest begin with changing that horrible name....
"You will own nothing and be happy "
When people will understand that the category 1,2,3, or 4 of a Hurricane doesn't determine what the water that comes with it will do,? flooding and ocean surge are other issues.
Looks like all of his homes had pools.
Does anyone have a head count of how many blacks and whites compared to South Americans or doing the actual rebuilding of Ivan and how many will be doing it for Nicole
Lost everything years ago. Not to weather from family fauds. Hope you have a better day.
Only real people Will suffer The pain of loss but not The politician who come a calling
What does that mean? Are you truly and personally suffering over this tragedy as does this man, and everyone else who suffered loss or are you just trying to start trouble? Are you contacting thr Federal govt. - begging for FEMA which was spitefully refused, and then attempting to provide state services. Know what you are talking about before you make accusations.
I don’t have a problem with people investing in real estate but not to the point where someone owns a bunch of homes on the water while others cannot afford to buy a home because these investors have access to cheap money & regular Americans cannot access. I believe the government should lower property taxes on first owned homes and charge an accumulative rate of 10% for the second home 20% for the 3rd home and Simon and so forth. So many rich people including foreigners they come and park their money in the US in the form of real estate and they cause prices to go up.
Your answer is why so many are not rich.
You can not tell people how much to charge for rent . One thing they can do for the less wealthy is to allow people to deduct rent from income taxes. Like deducting interest on a mortgage .
Would you rather have had a home here????
The foolish man builds his house upon the sand 🎶
Si los huracanes continúan asechando las costas de FL el Atlético se unirá al Golfo
this is not the way to mix the beach please you are not doing it right
Makes you wish you hadn't block the view of the ocean. Karma at its best. Greed is a sin.
Wait a minute did that guy say he owns three homes? He shouldn’t get a dime of my tax money to rebuild. That is a barrier Island you’re not supposed to build there anyway, some wisdom please.
He build on sand to reap insurance money big fool to reap money he is not wise all
OCEAN front property.
... is now ocean property. 😁
Can man just quit acting stupid building in places like this, and media making "OMG" stories with them?
Just stop. Its become so old & tired.
All part of god's wonderous plan.
Man cannot alter god's plan.
If a man can't capitalize God he has no fear of Him 🫥
Great now go on and winterize your house from the snow before you get snowed in or Out.
There are no rocks in Florida.
So are these people just letting the sea take it all away? Why isn't anyone taking these homes down before more junk ends up in the ocean? I'm sorry their homes are being destroyed but don't they have a responsibility to clean it all up and prevent it from all going into the ocean.
What is going on with her pants? They look so weird
they do look really weird, like ill fitting yoga pants?
People are ignorant
that is poor soil and too close to the water , the sea will win
"Your Fox Coverage Has Been Fantastic" especially the climate change denial coverage, I love it.. "But look what happened to my three home and my daughters place, You never would have believed it".... oh the sweet irony. One day you have millions in beach front real estate the next day Mehhh.. who could have seen that coming...
Definitely not in anyone alive todays lifetime. 🤪
It should not be legal to build homes on the beaches. The beaches should be pronounced public property for the safety issue and homes should be build by code and within inland. The global warming will continue effect these areas and people should get lessons from others lost, don’t build homes on sands and specially not close to running water when you have every year several hurricanes.
There is No global warming, but WARNINGS and CHASTISMENTS from God for this SINFUL WORLD. You right about NOT building homes right next to the ocean- developers GREED.
Don’t build on sand ! On this a solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand! Leave the view for the masses! The power of the Ocean is no match for mere men !
Move back from the sea. It will only get worse.
🙄🙄😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pestilence
How u can't believe it u build your house on the sand what in heavens u expect the bible tells u about this
So true it's Biblical, he is so ignorant
@@sadesade6658 what’s in the Bible it’s not about an actual house it’s a metaphor.
DON'T build on the beach. How hard is that to fathom? My partner and I are looking for property in Mexico. He likes the ones we've been shown on the beach or within a few hundred yards. I keep saying "not gonna happen" for this exact reason. I'd rather have a view of the ocean and have to walk 5 or 10 minutes than have my house washed away by a storm we KNOW is going to happen. It makes no sense. These people are deluding themselves and paying the price. It's sad, but I just can't accept their justification for buying/building there. Counties and/or States should not give building permits to rebuild in areas like this.
Unbelievable - exactly how? It's Florida, land of hurricanes. Learn a lesson from the 3 little pigs story. One was smart enough to build a brick house and if he lived in Florida, he certainly wouldn't have built it so close to the water. Aside from that, Climate Change has been an issue from some time now. Btw- isn't it a bit me-me-me-me to own 3 beachfront homes? Can't feel sorry for this dude.
OH, but all those people don't believe in climate change. They are climate change and science deniers who believe God will keep them safe. The thing is Posiden is angry about being forgotten or denied and is now back with a vengeance.
Not really sad story, uh you built on sand on the beach, okay. But what about what that reporter chick was wearing? What was that, looked like she was goin out on the range with chaps on.
Someone ought to pull her aside and have a talk with her 😂😂
yeah odd looking pants, made her look a bit like gumby
And you people still have the nerve to live there that’s insane
You own 3 beachfront properties? Well there's your first problem. How are they insured? How can you get homeowners insurance on properties like that when average Floridians are losing their coverage? I bet you donate to DeSantis.
DeSantis is one of the best politicians money can buy.
You never would have believed it? Talk about denying reality or not being aware of it. Sorry but I lived in Orlando back in the 90's and use to look at ocean level rise charts and knew that State was doomed soon back then. The DOD estimates that within the next 30 years the minimum sea level rise around the State of Florida will be 10-12". And that's conservative, pardon the pun, many other estimates state it will be much higher. Either way 70% of Florida will be in the tidal zone with in 20 years or so and within 40 it will be a sandbar at low tide as Nicole just demonstrated.
👉 Matthew 7:25
Did anyone of these home owners who built on sand, ask for God's opinion BEFORE building? 🤔
I doubt they did. If they had of, it's likely God would have referred them to the passage of Matthew 7:25. But what does God know, right? He only hangs this 🌍 that is upwards of 25k miles around on nada. Job 26:7 But ask the man or woman of science, and most refer to God and his book (the Bible) as no more than a 'fairytale.' This sure is a big earth for being a fairytale, don'cha think? (no need to answer).
🌏🙏🕚
That parable is about salvation in Jesus Christ or not upon Jesus Christ, you must have discernment. This man or the millions of others who have homes on sand have NOTHING to do with an individuals faith and so many Christians misuse scripture, ending up damaging Christianity more than an unbeliever, chasing away the lost instead of encouraging them.
@@email6743 , appealing to anyone with God's practical advice i.e., Matthew 7:25; with added practical illustration of Job 26:7, not encouragement? May your Spiritual eyes be opened for your own sake, as well as for others to be directed to their Creator and Saviour. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen.
🌍🙏🕚
@@email6743 , pay CLOSE ATTENTION to this passage: for it is first and foremost the 'rock'; the foundation of Jesus Christ, of which no other foundation can be laid; the Spiritual Truth within it, AS WELL AS A TRUTH THAT CAN BE APPLIED TO LIFE IN A LITERAL WAY (i.e., by not building a LITERAL STRUCTURE on sand!)
A parable isn't one dimensional, as you are asserting. The parables of Jesus are to be applied to our everyday lives. And stop leaning upon your own (limited) understanding of Jesus's truths.
