That is a very powerful idea, thank you. ... I think that the high left hand also tends to make the left shoulder high and therefore the right shoulder mirrors low, making it easier to get under the ball which naturally results in more top spin.
Your observation of the shoulders is very interesting. Your right. Glad your enjoying the channel. Do you have any other tennis issues that I could help with? If so let me know www.oneminutetennis.com
Great video! Would love to hear your thoughts on how in all pictures of the pros, the moment they hit the ball, left arm seems to be incredibly tense. Look at Djocovic' fingers and left bicep in this video at 1:29. I suspect their left side chest muscle is also very engaged at the moment of contact. This is opposed to a general idea of keeping the hitting arm more relaxed to swing it. There must be a reason behind this. Also, wonder how much this high position of the left hand has to do with keeping left shoulder up to avoid right shoulder from going up? Thank you!
Hi, I tried it yesterday, and it was the first time in my life that I could send all the balls of the machine in. I hope that this will make me consistent once for all.😂
Thank you. I had observe this. Problem is it is hard to teach this for most of your audience who is looking at RUclips for help. Years of bad habits have been accumulated and I tried doing this but very difficult to follow this in match play. Could you please suggest some drills or hacks for this? Much appreciated 🙏
Can’t wait to try this. I’ve have a problem where I drop my left hand before raising and catching it over my left shoulder. I hope this will prevent the drop. Thanks 😊
Your racquet appears to come from 6 o’clock just prior to contact, whereas Djokovic, Rudd etc come from 8 o’clock, less ulnar deviation. Which is correct?
Truly it depends on the ball. The ball coming to me was very slow from a ball machine. Even sliced balls will be coming much faster to Djokovic. So it will vary quite a bit. @@oneminutetennis On this 6 o'clock-8 o'clock discussion, could you explain why the speed dictates this difference? Frankly, the way it looks to me, no one ever seems to drop their racket past the horizontal plane, let alone allowing the hand/forearm to rotate so much that the racket becomes perpendicular.....Great vids, BTW, I've adopted two or three gems and they really work. Thanks.
@king0vdarkness thanks! They helped me go from being a broke college kid to a professional actor back in the day. Everything is about clips on the proprietary casting websites nowadays, which the public doesn't see. But there was a time when you needed basic footage hosted on a site like RUclips.

Maybe the best forehand tip ever.

That’s a good method but this is not something Djokovic started and he copied from modern forehand players like Kyrgios, Jack sock.
First!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love these videos but please learn how to pronounce the names of the players you are referencing.
How do you know you are pronouncing them correctly?
@djp3525 because I listened to players like Iga Swiatek when they gave interviews about how to pronounce their names
Cool acting reels Zach!
