Thanks so much for your sharing your review, Jack! We appreciate your support and are stoked to hear that you enjoyed these products. Our Meliora Plant-Based Salami product is mild in its flavour to cater to the majority of our customers, but the pepperiness/spiciness is something we could look to dial up - watch this space! We hope you enjoy these products in your next sandwich, or on your next pizza! Meliora HQ
Popped up in my notifications and I've never clicked on a video faster lol. I worry about that salami stuff because I'm guessing people will chuck it on a pizza and I learned my lesson from the ham that it should not be heated
Hi there! We can share that our new Meliora Plant-Based Salami product is perfect for a pizza. It will crispen and shrink slightly (like a Salami or Pepperoni product would), but maintain its shape and bite - just delicious! Happy tasting!
@@Meliora-Always-Betterok im definitely trying it then. I looked at the other day and decided against it since pizza is the absolute only thing I'd eat salami on. Thanks!
Hahaha I haven't tried heating it up yet, so I'd be interested to see how it holds up. I found with the ham when I make toasties that you need to double layer the ham to prevent it from melting lol
Kerri, I bought the salami not only to try on pizzas but also to go with crackers and the new Imber's Camembert available from Woolworths, for snacking platter at Christmas. So far I've tried the Camembert which is amazing but haven't cracked open the salami yet.
Thanks Jack! New fan and new to veganism but grateful for your video and work. Thanks for sharing with us wholeheartedly. Looking forward to watching you and learn more.
I'm eating the Chicken in a sandwich right now! I think it works the best, way better than their Turkey which I think they have discontinued now. It's the closest to what it's trying to replicate. I think the Roast Beef is probably my favourite as it is nice and savoury and while I never really ate much roast beef growing up, the few times I did have it was at my Grandmother's fresh sliced off the roast so I have fond nostalgia for the taste.
Good to hear! Definitely pretty close options from what I remember. And agreed about the Turkey slices. Just didn't hit the mark, but good to see they tried again on other options.
I did the Roast Beef in a toasted sandwich likewise in a heavy based pan with the Imber's Camembert and Bio Cream Cheese, it was deliciously decadent and gooey.

I agree the salami could be more spicy. I really like the roast beef a lot and already bought several packets.

Thanks! I'm glad you're finding it helpful :)
I was cautious to try the chicken style slices, glad they taste good.
I loved the roast beef one!! Not a massive fan of the salami but that may be because i never liked real salami, i cant remember lol😅
Not beef, not pork etc so doesn't matter what you didn't like before
Good to hear about the roast beef one! :)

Thank you.
No worries!
also i just wish tofurky slices would come back
Agreed! I remember them fondly - really good flavours and texture.
Would you put the vegan salami on a pizza ?
I tried heating the ham stuff up and it became a goo so I wouldn't risk it
That's what I'm going to try. The Roast Beef and Chicken work quite well in sandwiches.
I've had the Ham in toasted sandwiches many times, done slowly on a heavy based pan on top of the stove. Worked gangbusters.

Vegan first!
Boom!
someone stuffed up the shelves at woolies and i copped a stack of these new ones for $2.50 each 😂
Damn! What a score 😅👏👏
I love the ham but wouldn’t buy the other three again. No one in the family liked them except the dogs.
Definitely not as ground-breaking as their ham!
@ there was a rumour that the ham was going to dropped. My Woollies didn’t have any for 3 weeks but now it’s back in stock. 🙂
