Why are Okapis so hard to find
Because they are shy animals that live in the Rainforest. They are also endangered

I loooove Okapi. Every few years I visit a dear friend in OH and we come here. They always are standing far away and minding their business. I would love to see one up close! They are so neat!
Such great question from the children! Impressive curiosity from young minds!!!

I absolutely love okapis they are my favourite out of every animal 🥰🥰
You know, in the wild, the moms will actually hide their baby in the brush while she goes to feed.
I wished humans will stop destroying the wildlife and wild animals! All animals are important for the ecosystem! And they are so adorable!
...the very point of this video is to show were trying to do better, dude.
I’ve never seen an Okapi before.....they are truly gorgeous. Thank you for sharing them with us.
This has been my favorite animal since I was 6 years old, and I am SO GLAD YOU DID A VIDEO AAA

Another GREAT safari. I love okapi, too. This was a treat to see them up close and to learn about them. That Riley is one sweet baby.
Hello, i want to know how their pupil looks like in their eyes? Is it round or is it horizontally ?? It is very difficult to see. So thanks if it is possible to tell me that secret???
They should call them Earkapi's. The size of their ears, BIG!
Amazing beautiful creatures...Thanks so much for the Home Safari's Video:)
I have an okapi doll, I named Cameroon after the African country
Which fact about okapis is true?

YAY Okapi!!😍
He is a giant baby boy.
You guys have Okapi?! They are my favorite relative to the Giraffe!! I think they are so cute. Like short Zebra Giraffes. I tell everyone about them over here at the NHM in L.A.
Aww 🥰.
I didn't know anything about these beautiful animals. I am glad that I saw this video. I love them. I have one food-related question: When do the babies start eating solid food, how long do they nurse and how long when they are solely on solid food, or once they start eating solid food do they stop nursing immediately? My lifelong dream is to travel and visit all the great zoos in America.
Creatures ! ?
Coolest animals!
Hyena's head
He's ginormous to be 3.5 months old, & by the way, please let all the zoo folks they are appreciated for taking care of true innocence.
Riley’s ears are so big, I think like a Moose. Looking at his Mom it looks like he will grow into them.
We very much enjoyed watching the okapi.
super big for only being a few months old.
I saw a documentary on them in their home environment of dense forest...very hard to see!
Thanks for vid to break up the day
i love the animal videos

Are they active at night?
Can you pet them?
How does it give birth???????...........
Lol, very carefully. And standing up 😅
How old is she?
what is their height
Very interesting
Hyena + Zebra?
Isn't this species extinct?
J M You’re thinking of a relative of the zebra, the Quagga. This is an okapi, a relative of the giraffe.
They look like a jersey and a zebra deer with out the horns
taer aer like zibru
