Play this often along with other pieces of Grace Williams ‘s music . Lovely, and evocative of a Welsh childhood. Thank you for uploading her music . Vivienne Williams

Absolutely wonderful writing for orchestra. Charles Groves was a fine conductor, his recordings for EMI being consistently first-class. Desert Island passage for me, 3:40-4:41.....

Nice upload ! Do you intend to also post the remaining works of this LP ("Carillons" ; "Trumpet Concerto" ; "Fairest of Stars"). It would be great to have these Grace Williams' compositions available on RUclips...

I can upload the other items from the CD I have, being Carillons, Trumpet Concerto and Sea Sketches but I'm afraid I don't have Fairest of Stars in my collection.

Rodders That's great ! The three orchestral works you cited will be a very nice addition to the works of Grace Williams on RUclips. I'm looking forward to that... Thank you in advance !

You are most welcome. Always happy to upload anything conducted by Sir Charles Groves (probably the most esteemed British conductor I had the opportunity to watch at a live concert). I have uploaded those three works by Grace Williams and will also be doing a handful of further pieces by other Welsh composers in due course.
