Betül Engin I think it's hard to have 100% American or British in the speech of us, none English native speakers. I basically speak with American pronunciation, but for some words, British one is easier for me.
Hello Elliot, I'm a Russian guy. I have been learning English language by 3 years, but only now I'm coming to the ended purpose, your lessons very helped me. Thank so much.

I was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone in West Africa. In my primary and high school years, I was taught to read, write, and speak British standard English. I have that language embedded in me, though am not a native speaker. When I was in high school, I would listen to the BBC World News to enjoy the flavour and emission of the sounds of the broadcaster. My best newsreader was Derrick Baker. admired him so much when he carefully and emphatically laid stress on the words that captured my mind. British pronunciations are the first place in my mind.
British pronunciations are satisfying and enriching in speech delivery. I can truly and aptly say that I had fallen in love with a British accent since all my primary and secondary school years in Sierra Leone The BBC News was my favourite and I would always listen to the news especially when Derrick Baker was on. He was my favourite. We all know what's good for us and take it into good part.

I really like these kind of videos, as they're actually really helpful when it comes to learn the English grammar deeper and therefore how to sound like a native speaker. To be fair, I have been learning English for almost 27 years now, but I couldn't get that British accent yet. I'm planning to make a journey to the UK one day, so I can become fluent at it, especially when talking about my conversational skills. I definitely have to work out mainly in all my weak points. However, I hope all your videos will be pretty useful for me to improve my level. Keep up the good work!. Kind Regards!.

Hi there Elliot! I just discovered your channel thanks to a teacher I have. I'm currently attending a Teachers Training Course in Argentina and I found your lessons particularly helpful. I've heard many different accents and intonation patterns among people living in England, specially on the C.A.E. listening tests we do every week (not to mention the Scottish, Welsh and slang accents, which I find particularly difficult to understand) and I was wondering where does yours come from. It's completely delightful to listen to. Thank you for reading and greetings from Argentina.
