Can you imagine how stupid it is possible to be (me) after recently discovering Dimash, driving, listening to Dimash in the car, hearing his interpretation of Hello for the first time. I was in an emotional shock and had to pull over. I wasn't able to drive at all

He didn’t understand Dimash made Hello his own because he is a genuine artist that puts his seal on any song he performs even covers. The music arrangement is beautiful!!! The flute called Sybyzgy - made of reeds or wood 50-70 cm with 3-5 holes, is particularly common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The instrument was popular with shepherds, although difficult to play, and was also used by storytellers, in this case perfect for Dimash who is a master of storytelling …. ❤️🔝🎤🌹🌹👏👏👏👏👏

Dimash is totally at home on the stage. At his New York concert, he was singing All By Myself when someone in the audience called out and it disturbed his concentration. He laughed and said shhhh this is a very special moment. Then he said he forgot the words and the audience started singing for him. He wasn’t embarrassed at all. Lol.
I have observed that in his concerts Dimash behaves / feels like he is at a party with friends, especially Yerevan gave me this feeling. I'm curious to see how Antalya will be tomorrow.

The name of the song is”I’ll die for the mountain wind” half way through it, he started imitating the Armenian wind instrument called the “duduk” it really is a masterpiece. Good day. Thank you for your reactions to Dimash's music. He is truly an incredible artist. The first time I heard his music the question that came to mind was, why am I only hearing him now? His music is a pleasure to listen to and I am very happy to have discovered it. Please spoil yourself and listen to the cross-over group Forestella. They made me ask myself that same question when I heard them for the first time. I love their rendition of the song Champions. It is a very powerful song. They have also done renditions of Ed Sheeran's Shape of You, Queen' s Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

He was speaking in Kazakh at the beginning thanking the show “the singer” and then he said thank you and I love you in Chinese. In the song by the way he also say at the end “men semi suyemin” which is I love you in Kazakh ❤

I think your new definition of Dimashified is very valid. I had never thooght of using it in that way as to me Dimashified meant being shocked, stunned, melted and forged into a new Dear from listening to his performances. But you are right, Dimash absolutely Dimashifies his songs. Nobody else can do to a song what he does.

Dimash has been used to be on stage since he learned to walk. When his parents had concerts. He doesn`t feel nervous at all. This is what he always have dreamt about. Being on huge stages and sing for big crowds. He already said that when he was a child. He wantet to be worldfamous. :-) There`s Dimash documentary guides 1 to 10 or more you can watch from he was little. There you see how he explain how his life has been whith singing, school, football, taekwondo, swimming, running, etc.. from young age Best regards from Norway.

This song from Lionel Richie was from 1983 on his Can't Slow Down album. He had gone solo from his group The Commodores. I love how Dimash Dimashified the song.
Another song he elevates is All By Myself. That one he really goes wild in. It is freaking awesome! But then again this is Dimash...he has the Midas touch. Every song he sings turns golden. The Singer show itself has the lyrics in the language that its sung in. So if you ever watch Dimash sing Confessa and the Diva Dance from Singer 2017, you notice that the words are in Chinese then Italian, because thats how Dimash sang it. So English is the original language of the song, like the 2nd time he sang I love you, it was in Chinese Wǒ ài nǐ but the lyrics still said I love you. Sorry cant help with what he said at the end, i dont speak Chinese or Kazakh. But i did hear him say Zhōngguó which is China, in Chinese. I picked up a few words watching these chinese shows Dimash was on. Rackmet is thank you in Kazakh.

It is not true that Lionel Richie was not a fan of Dimash’s performance. Lionel never commented on Dimash or his performance for that matter. It is possible that Lionel has not even seen it. Whoever said that to you that he didn’t like the performance was clearly confused. Also, Dimash follows Lionel Richie on Instagram. He would not be following him, if there was anything sour between them.

From what I have read, although I did not fact check this, Lionel Ritchie’s lawyers contacted Dimash stating that Dimash did not have permission to sing “Hello” ever again. What a shame. If I am incorrect, please state the correct information;)

Agree Dimash’s ability to sing in different languages and emotionally interpret songs in languages other than his native Kazakh and Russian is a sign of his intelligence - plus his dedication to understand and ability to learn lyrics phonetically - mind blowing.

I grew up with Hello by Lionel Richie. I loved this song. But to be honest, I like Dimash’s version much better. I just find the old version boring now. Sorry Lionel. The melismas give me goosebumps without end.

Unfortunately, Lionel Richie banned Dimash from singing the song again and I dont know if that’s still the case today.
The flute is called Sygyzgy and is mainly played in the Kyrgyz and Kazakh regions. According to Wikepedia it is traditionally played by shepherd horse herders. A wonderful sound.
Dimash has a new song in a new language. At the first time he performed an Armenian folk song on his concert in Armenia on April 29, 2023. You really, really have to watch it.
He'd barely sung the first note and all my body hair stood up. Goosebumps over goosebumps. He learned this song in two or three days, I heard.
In the end of the song he imitates an Armenian Flute, the Duduk, with his voice. The whole song is so incredible.
