Very clear. The only thing that is not quite clear is whether the 4 records on a new domain that was bought yesterday should be deleted or not. I have no a records just 2 TXT 1 CNAME and 1 ALIAS. Judging from the video I keep them and delete add the name A and AAAA records from my web host
Yeah, it's a bit weird they didn't do the use case where the domain was freshly registered. When I try to add an A record, I get an error about the CNAME.

Thanks for the video. I am able to add the www one but I get an error when I try adding the blank one - 'ERROR: Could not add DNS record: A CNAME record with that host already exists. For more details, refer to .' Note that I manually deleted the pre-existing cname record but that didn't work.

Hi. In your ip address example, you used the ending of the ip address as .2 for the record you left HOST blank for and .3 for the www record you. Are those two ip addresses or was it a typo
Hi, the IP addresses used here are just as an example. You'll want to use the IP addresses provided by your hosting provider rather than what is shown here.
@@PorkbunDomains Got it. Thank you. I have the one single ip address from the hosting site. If I they only have one ip address, do I still use the same ip address to create a www and a blank record?
@@caseygutierrez5349Personally I would just setup a URL forward from www to your root, and then setup the A record on root. Feel free to contact our support team as well, they can help get this setup if you get lost.
I don’t understand the numbers where did they come from ?
Let's say you want to host (Computing power) your website on another Hoster which is cheaper, they will give you an ip address to connect to their computer (which will process all the traffic which comes to the site), you need to put that ip address on that file that is shown on the video. This is useful if you want to have full access to the VPS (Server/computer) where the website is hosted.
How do I add a Porkbun subdomain to my Porkbun site? The examples say "follow the registrar's instructions" buuut what if Porkbun IS my registrar, what "answer" do I use?

Does it take 48 hours to reflect changes because whenever i visit domain name then it shows sit can't reached even it's connected to netlify successful
For A records? Typically just a few minutes. Sounds like you may have a cached result. Try clearing your browser history and restarting your modem/router. If your'e still having issues I invite you to email support@porkbun.com so they can have a look as well.

I removed all default records and replace ns with Digital Ocean ones... but i see there is absent dot after submitting. I created A records as shown in video but it pasts over two hours i got 404 (002) pixie proxy in browser. Who knows is normal while within ns propagation time?

You need an International VISA Debit/Credit Card. There's only a Credit Card option on their site but you can even fill Debit card info and it works. Cheers!
