I’ll take booster of brilliant stars all day over 3 pack blisters based on my own experience. I like knowing I’ll get hits over the unknown imo
I just never really got lucky on 3 pack blisters, mostly because I don't buy them in cases to rip them
@@mikespecialmoney6232 I tried with the last few ultra modern sets and had very little luck. All my best hits have come from BBs. The only 3 pack blisters I have now will only stay in the collection
@@hellastrong5309 same with me pulled chase cards from the last three sets (rayquaza vmax, alt art Zard, rainbow Zard, mew vmax) but only from booster boxes. And nothing beats the feeling of of cracking a whole bb hoping up to the last pack for the magic

I did this a while back and got 19 hits on blisters and 12 on the booster box

Based on my experience, brilliant stars booster boxes have given me amazing hits! If i dont hunt the card individually i just go for the booster box. Did buy 1 of every v box just for the collection

Loved this video! Also really liked how you did the point system to show number of pulls plus taking rarity of pulls into account.
Obviously the Zard and Articuno tip the scales for value but real interesting how the point system was dead even. Could be booster boxes are better bang for your buck but blisters being better than the other lower tier products like ETBs. I chose 4 blisters over a B&B stadium from Amazon coming this week. Interested to see how those pulls compare to previous stadiums I have opened.
Right?! Value is the variable part I think. Hit ratio was consistent.
The pack lines go in booster boxes as do blisters. Pokemon has maintained they're hit rates since the beginning. 1 premium card per 33 cards. It use to say it on the vintage packs. And then stopped but the hits have remained the same. It's all random

I don't get three pack blisters enough to make a good comparison, but I feel like booster boxes always treat me right so that's what I'd put my money on!

I've spent a lot of time with blister packs and I think you'll get a lot more hits. Although the booster box is generous and still a great grab. Brilliant stars has been hitting hard. Still chasing evolving skies overall though. Both sets are great! Can't wait to see what you pull!
I have had zero luck on the 3 pack blisters. I have the best luck with booster boxes, and good luck with the build and battle stadiums. Also, the mini binder that comes with 1 pack, I've pulled a secret rare from half of the ones I've bought.

Brilliant Stars is an amazing set and I'm glad to see that the hits seem to be evenly dispersed. At least with these specific products. I'd like to see it tested on a larger scale.

I honestly think it’s just totally random what hit you get. I pulled the rainbow charizard from a single checklane booster pack. I am curious to know what you do with your commmon/uncommmon cards? Mine are starting to pile up and I’m not sure if I should sell them in bulk on eBay or if I should take them to the local card store.

From what I have opened up so far, I would say 3-pack blisters have a pretty good hit rate. This has worked well on Evolving Skies 3-pack blisters as well
Never get pulls like that out of booster boxes. All my good hits come from 3 pack blisters and tins.

I've also pulled a few dud boxes... cracking 4 cases and 3ETBs. The ETBs have all been floor cards. Pretty much every six booster box case I've opened had one or two charizard alt art or rainbow charizard

I’m putting my money on the booster box going from my experience. Iv brought at least 10 blisters and not pulled anything out of them . But booster boxes iv had good pull rates .I need 28 cards for the complete set

I'm doing a brilliant stars binder and I'm 64 cards short which ive been buying singles from suppliers but some of the prices of the full arts and rainbow cards is rediculous. I really want to comllete the collection as its a sick set

I'm taking the 3pack blister because when you open a booster box you usually get about one secret rare, while you can get more secret rares from several products.

I would have thought the 3 pack blisters would have won. I have gotten some amazing hits out of 3 pack blisters from evolving skies. Some booster boxes are just stacked though and that was a good box.

I have some blisters coming in a couple days hoping to have some great pulls. The arceus figure box has given me some amazing character cards so far and some v cards. I just started collecting again since I was a kid and have yet to buy a full booster box yet.

That box was CRACKED. The one I opened was very similar though got the rainbow charizard, Cynthia full art and the zapdos gold, plus a charizard vstar. Thought I was dreaming for like the rest of the day

See normally blisters are the way to go but we are talking about Brilliant Stars and from what I have seen the booster boxes are equally as good if not better then the blisters, but that only counts for Brilliant Stars

Loved the longer episode, I always thought booster box had better/more hits, good to see that its fairly even really. Just got lucky with the quality of the hits from that booster box!

TL;DR - Buy blisters at the start of new sets to get a WIDE variety of cards and then progress to booster boxes when you're down to only a few of the ultra rare+ or higher rarity cards for the set.
ive had many of workers at LCS tell me that blisters are the GOAT of any set - and his reasoning was simply put: while yes, you are guaranteed certain rarities in booster boxes, you are only guaranteed 'x' amount - whereas an equivelant ammount of 3 pack blisters (so 12 blister packs) ALL have their packs randomly inserted and thus giving you better chances of pulling more than the 'x' ammount of a given rarity in a booster box
it made sense to me when he told me it, but the more I think about it, its probably just as equivelant as buying 36 sleeved single boosters and having that 'random' chance; overall blisters are just that, random, and if your luck is good that day, you could slap a booster box silly with pulls, or go home with absolutely nothing. Booster boxes are better imho if you want 'guaranteed' rarities of a certain type E.G. trying to complete a set that you only need 1 or 2 of a certain rarity left.

We only opened 6 booster boxes here. We pulled 2 rainbow VSTAR Charizard, 2 alt art Charizard, 1 alt art Arceaus, 3 alt art Lumineon. Amazing!
i opened 12 triple blisters of brilliant stars and got 14 pulls which is the equivalent of a really good booster box. Only one secret rare though which is actually less then what we got from some of the 20 booster boxes we opened. in my opinion booster boxes are slightly better mainly due to the cost per pack that works out better than triple blisters. A couple of triple blisters is always worth the gamble though but never a sealed case.

I've had terrible luck after our first booster box ... we've bought at least 5 other booster boxes and 30 or more 3pk blisters and we are still missing a bunch of cards mostly chase cards ... ive estimated at least 400pks based off of code cards .

Nothing gets close to opening a whole booster box! But sometimes its better to leave the value there and open some smaller products instead.

I had the whole first set from the 90s and I'm pretty sure they were all mint because I never played with them ,as soon as I got them I would put them in a card case. Unfortunately I sold them when I was on the drugs! But I'm 7 years sober and so I decided to buy them all back now that I got a good job ,and a much better life. initially I was just interested in the first-set but then I on a whim decided to buy 3 booster packs of brilliant star not knowing anything about the newer cards .and on the third pack I pulled the V-Star rainbow Charizard ! well that got my blood pumping very nostalgically. and so now I most definitely have a new addiction. anyway I like your Channel! and let's see, I think my favorite box you show today was definitely the Pikachu one because I wouldn't have considered that it's not seeing this.
