What's the link with Pavarotti ? He certainly did not have a large or big voice! He had a perfectly placed one, ringing and effective, but not large.
Ghena’s voice became firmer by a more revised technique the 1990’s as shown here. Her top notes are firmer and the overall registers a tighter than her earlier voice.
