Okay I'm gnna say this right now, Haikyuu is emotional. We are always talking about how funny the dub is or how hot the characters are, but we never really get into the full meaning. I have been playing volleyball for a while now, and when you win a game, that is how you feel. You cry nd cry knowing that everyone did their best. You cry when you lose a game, but it's not cause you lost. It's because you know that you gave it your all and that you just messed up one little thing. You let the other team get in your head. When I watched Haikyuu I cried so much. Watching the characters evolve. Watching Karasuno go from being ,"the wingless crows", to SPOILER winning nationals. Watching Hinata evole into the tiny giant was amazing and seeing that Hinata made Kageyama see himself as The king in a new way. Plus the graphics and scenes were amazing all the time. I even cried of laughter when watching the Dub version. It is an amazing anime.

It’s emotional for me too, even though I play a different sport. It still means a lot.
