I think you need to do a coffee table that matches your media console I think it will tie the room together and also a colorful rug so you can add some color to the room. I love interior design and love seeing how you are designing your apartment!
If you are looking to fill some space 1 or 2 accent chairs or a love seat facing the door would look really nice and give you some more seating as well and define where the dinning ends and lounge room starts.

I would do either a metal and wood coffee table to hint at the shelves or a very monolithic wood one. I have a side table like that, it is just a squared piece of raw wood. You can see the grain, the wood splited a bit, so much character. I am sure they make coffee table like that to.

I live in AZ too and Lyon Chiropractic on Warner Rd has massage therapist that are incredible! Most insurances will pay for the whole year after you do 5 visits and its only $25 per visit, at least for me. Its so worth it and they can really work on the kinks in your shoulders and neck!

Yes should deffo have someone with you while you sell the table (if you haven't sold it already), and do it in the parking lot or downstairs of your apartment for safety reason. Better be safe than sorry. And i recommend getting a microwave cover for when you reheat stuff so food doesn't splatter everywhere. Much easier to clean the cover than to clean the whole microwave.

You know what you can do? If the couch still looks way too small for the place, you can get an ottoman. That will fill up your space and the couch will look bigger for sure

You might have some Paranormal Activity going on the TV cabinet door closing on its own. 😯 My dad lived in Texas years back and said the house he leased there was Paranormal Activity from all the previous tenants and he and my sisters never experience anything. They all got their cameras out and nothing. All the previous tenants broke the lease because of Paranormal Activity like the kitchen cabinet doors opening and closing. Bedroom door would open and the kitchen water faucet would turn on and can actually see the handle turning. Of course, the previous tenants claim they saw this not my dad and my sister.
Just finished your new vlog. 😊 Saw you say something about being uncomfortable selling your desk on Facebook marketplace etc. I'm not sure if your state does this but I keep seeing it more and more. Your local police station might have a safe drop off point zone with a sign in their parking lot. It's meant to meet a person there to exchange goods you are selling etc so you feel safer. Maybe you can somehow get the desk to them at one with your mom helping or someone you may know with enough room in a vehicle to transport it there. Just sharing that info.

The packets inside the console absorb humidity and humidity can warp wood so they were just being extra safe so your product wasn't damaged.
