This is a small section of a workshop that you can get from my tinhouse studio website below. This specific section focuses on backplates and how and when to use them as a food or drink photographer. Although the concept is pretty much the same for all genres of professional photography

Love this! So many photographers would try and have you believe they achieve it all in camera 😂 Good to hear someone like yourself confirm it's not cheating and just how it really is!
I know, I find it so strange too that they feel the need to do this. Its all about the final image, not the process.
Thanks for this fundamental insight! Great contents. Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Not a problem, glad its of help.
Thank you for decluttering my thoughts, Things make perfect sense after watching this.
Hey Scott! Thank you for your awesomeness! Love your images and it is really eye-opening for me. Thinking about getting into product photography as a hobby after 10 years of photography. Greetings from Mongolia!
I already knew this, but from the experience from your other videos, you explain everything so well, so clear and straigh to the point, it's amazing :) Keep it going! Cheers from Portugal
Thankls for the kind words
Very educational! Never thought about this.
Great video. I have a question that maybe you would be able to have some knowledge on. For carbonated drinks, is there a trick used for the fizz appearing in the pour itself? I notice in commercials that the pour has some carbonation, it has bubbles. But In real life, it's very clear, and something like a lemonade can just look like water when being poured. Do you know how to get the fizz in the pour itself? Thank you mate
You composite images!? 😱
jk, great info here!
Amazing
Thanks
Thanks for the tips. It frustrates me when working on the shot and it looks just ok in camera. Now I know it's ok for an image to only look great after retouching. Now I know it's just how the process is like.
Well explained
Thanks Philip
Scott, I recently saw an add for some Danish chocolate (Toms chokolade) and it really looked like your work. Any chance it might actually have been your doing?
Do you know of any good tutorials?
