C kite 101: first powered sessions on new kite, kitesurfing kiteloop training

- recovered old hardrive with my first powered weekend on a C kite from october 2016.
Kiteloop training, and a lot of wipeouts at the end of video!
Well most wipeouts are because I was using a broken board near the tail toe side..
Took a few session to get the timing right and get used to the power of the landing loop.
On high range of kite a small flying error can result in a big yank wipeout.

Board: F-one trax 2015 (broke it that session, had to tape it to ride next day...)

Philippe ancelin merci, la sensation au niveau de la barre est assez proche du bandit(plus de tension mais direct pour les deux). La puissance dans les kiteloop est constante, alors que pour le bandit le kite accélère et il y a un pique de puissance que te déstabilise. Sinon la 5ieme ligne est plus fiable que sur la barre fone ;)
Il y a plus de puissance quand tu redirige le kite donc sur les landing loop il faut un peu plus de technique
Bref j aime bien le kite.
Ok, retour intéressant, par-contre je trouve que le loop de la bandit est presque trop facile, je n'ai jamais sentis ce déséquilibre dont tu parles. Maintenant j'utilise la TS pour les loop, plus agressif et c'est assez sympa ;) Merci pour le retour.
Philippe ancelin sur le bandit j ai remarqué que sur la taille 9 et 10 sur plage assez haute.
Je vais essayer le TS alors ;)
+Philippe ancelin enfin mes retour sur le bandit sont plutôt des retours de débutant, je suis beaucoup plus consistent sur le GP. Je pense que maintenant sur le Bandit ca devrait passer.
Je pense que sur le bandit j'étais un peu timide a l envoi du saut donc je me retrouvais à faire une loop un peu tard à partir de midi donc la loop va en pleine fenêtre ce qui m envois downwind et le kite stall
Alors qu'avec le GP il faut être un peu plus agressif quand tu envois le kite donc souvent le placement est plus optimal naturellement en arrière a 11 ou a 13h quand tu démarre la loop de cette façon, ca loop un peu sur le côté de la fenêtre...
Bref je pense qu avec le bandit j'avais les erreurs de débutant de loop en pleine fenêtre au lieu de le faire un peu en arrière et d attendre un peu tard apres le pop.
Hi, I also want to buy a best GP (2016). Do you have some points of attention? Now I am riding the best kahoona with 4 lines. I have never kited with a five lines kite.
Magikarp The fish once you get it, spend some time in medium wind to learn to water relaunch! It's a lot harder to water relaunch, and require slightly different technique. One trick is to sheet in a bit or pull the fifth line at the same time you pull one steering line.
Else it's all good, I have heard very good thing of Best TS too, might be better to try TS first then go to GP...
Jerome Loman ok, thanks for your reply. Is the best TS also a good kite for learning kiteloops? Because I want to do some new tricks.
Magikarp The fish I know some people who like TS for kite loop but they say it's more aggressive than TS.
Just tried FX, and I find it easier to land kiteloop on GP.
Jerome Loman nice! Tommorow there is a testday at my spot and they have ozone, cabrinha, north, gaastra, f one, airush, naish, and brunotti do you recommend some kites to test?
Cabrinha FX,North rebel, Naish Torch,air rush razor, fone bandit is nice but I would wait for their new bar in 2018.
