One thing that's often overlooked is the all-star coaching staff DQ assembled. They demand the best out of every player on the roster and created a culture of competition. They will have the Commanders prepared and locked in for the Ravens. This will be a hard-fought game. Commanders on the road by a field goal for win!!! #RaiseHail
Not to mention when this all star staff gets head coach and coordinator jobs elsewhere we will collect additional draft picks much like the 9ers have been doing plus we got guys ready to step in and fill those vacated roles. I mean if Kliff gets a HC job elsewhere Anthony Lynn or others can step in and take over. I feel like it’s the same thing with the front office not to mention all the one year deals that can turn into draft picks if they get paid elsewhere. I suspect in the 2026 draft we will be loaded with draft picks for these various reasons. Adam Peters is setting us up for sustained success and that is refreshing.
His attributes running, passing, accuracy, athleticism is one thing but what makes him transcendent is the command of his environment… it’s like a conductor in a symphony this guy!!!

We have to stop acting like the browns don't have a good defense
Browns came out swinging and got some takeaways but hard to do that for a full game when your offense is constantly three and out. Also Daniels mobility saved a few drives that would be sacks/turnovers with most QBs.

Being the worst in the division a season ago helps a lot too with the complete offseason rebuild. The schedule is easy and lets them build confidence against other teams who are also rebuilding.

I like what you said. Commanders are playing above their current iteration. Even a loss to Bmore simply says they’re still better than we expected…and should be much better over the next couple of years. I think that’s a healthy and positive way to look at it. I would LOVE for them to beat the Ravens now. But, that might be a real big bite for an up and coming team. Beating the Cards and the Browns convincingly is what an actual good team I think should do. I think maybe we’ve moved up to actually being a good team now…with some growing to do before going to top 6. I’m happy about that…and if they decide to become that now, I’ll be pleasantly surprised 😊.

This is more sustainable than you think. Firstly he is the ultimate QB other than being skinny. There's never been a true pocket passer who is a top tier runner as well and defenses have no answer to it bc they have to choose run or pass to defend so they are always wrong. Secondly, Daniels will grow better at passing and go from being a game manager to a game changer as a passer AND as a runner as defenses realize they have to play single high to have a chance at stopping this offense. The defense will improve as well.
The ravens arent that good and we arent that bad. JAYDEN IS already a better passer than Lamar will ever be

You need both. A lot of QBs fail in the NFL because they land in a scheme and with a coordinator that don't fit. Scheme fit is the most important foundation, and the Skins hired an OC who fits JD's skillset. He would not look like this if the Jets or somebody had drafted him. This is at least one major reason we have always failed in the past. Our slimy owner used to make the QB picks, remember, and he knows about as much about football as my pet turtle does. And his head coaches were neither consulted or considered, because why would you talk to them about first round picks? So Robert landed in a scheme he had no chance to fit into as a track star, which is what he was. If Shanahan hadn't cobbled together an ad hoc scheme for him mid-season there wouldn't have been even the tragedy of the 2012 season. It would just have been another Haskins failure. And the same thing with him: head coach was trying to run a complex west coast offense, QB had only ever run spread, one-reads. It's never gonna work.

JD success is built on a couple of factors. Kliff, the o-line, team chemistry, and winning mentality for the team as a whole is whats helping JD to be as amazing as he is. Without those i think he would look more like Caleb at this point.

The Cardinals & Bengals win were convincing wins. We would have lost to all these teams in the past. So now they we dominate these teams. All of a sudden they stink and were just that good. Well i call BS! Were in a rebuilding year. But are playing amazing team football. Thats why were winning. Has nothing todo with bad play from the opposite team. Because the cardinals beat the 49ers on Sunday. And Bengals lost to the Ravens in OT. So those wins werent give me's. We took them in convincing fashion.

I have to disagree with you. I've seen the Commanders play the Eagles hard. I've seen the team shock the world and beat the Cowboys. I've not seen this team beat the teams that people actually believe in. The Eagles and Cowboys are fools gold. The Cowboys routinely choke in the playoffs and ever since that Super Bowl loss Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have been unraveling. I want to see if we can slow down Derrick Henry in any meaningful way. I want to see if we can force Lamar into bad throws. I want to see if this defense can get to the quarterback. I want to see it against the "good teams".

Jayden is at his floor right now bc he is still missing multiple reads and easy completions but is deadly accurate on difficult pro level throws. Once he picks up the routes better he has potential to be unstoppable. Gotta give OL credit tho they have been giving time to react and he’s not getting blown up much at all.
I definitely think there’s some things to take away from how the defense played just based off the historically bad year they had last year and how even with all the turn over we come out vs Tampa and look like the same team of old the old saying was “Washington is the get right game” I can’t remember how many times I’ve heard “this team hasn’t scored a td in the first opening drive since 2022” then boom they play us and magically they’re scoring on every possession we heard all week that the browns hadn’t score more than 20 points all year and if your a Washington fan I’m sure those words scared you 😂 but you know what they came out and played a dominant game (obviously the browns offense is terrible) but they handled business where in years past we would have made that offense look like the greatest show on turf 😂🤦🏾♂️

@@ronniethomas8780 I have been a Redskins fan since the 70's. I grew up going to games at RFK in the 70's and 80's. I do not detest the organization, I detest what Dan Snyder did to it. I just think we are too weak along the offensive and defensive lines in order to compete for a championship right now. God forbid we have some injuries along either line during the season.
