Yes, a large ship with built in conveyor using fuels like diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is very nature.
You do not want anything to slow you down, while working. The CCP'S got this one.
Perfect job,older people by experience know the tactics to speed up the flow of the coal/ mud / iron ore /pebbles,coordinated effort is also reqd
When working in a tapered ship hull with a conveyer belt below you and thousands of tonnes of material above you isn’t dangerous enough, just add water. Only in China🤪 Great video
The water is used to loosen the material and make it easier to slider. Some materials are very hard to unload without water, and it is actually much more dangerous to unload them dry - since you start to progress only exactly above the belt and the sides and top start to lag behind.
And then when the water would be useful the guy with the hose is nowhere to be found.
The water is to prevent dust going everywhere

Thanks for the video ... in my opinion dangerous jobs are better suited to the older more experienced person ... The young need to learn , but just sometimes older is better .....
So how do the young learn without doing it?

Wondered what the boards are for, compensating for poor design.
I wondered too. I'm going to guess they cover the conveyor with the boards because the weight of all that coal(?) wouldn't let the conveyer work at the start. I suppose he removes them gradually as he gets upto them
