I am amazed at the 3-Dimensional effect. I noticed you started the outline of the rose with white paint. I have seen other artists do that with black paint. I have been doing the same. I must admit, initially, I was unsure how it was going to turn out. You have surprised me... rather very pleasantly. I am working on a painting of hydrangeas in a bowl. I have done 2, with dark paint to start with. After I started adding different shades if blue, purple abs mauve, they are still a little "flat." Now, I will do the remaining 3 with white paint to begin with, as you have done. If mine turn out a fraction as good as your rose, I will be very happy. Even if they don't, I will try again. As Bob Ross used to say: "There are no mistakes. Just happy little accidents!" 🥰
Btyful of course after yu have drawn yu have covered with backdrop then.so precisely yu have taken the whol details painted How its yr creative talent I think how students could get it practise may be

The rose is pretty, but I would like to see a step by step video on naming colors, how to mix them and a much slower process on painting the rose. I am a beginner so I wouldn't be able to do this😢
