Why did you install the module in copilot door using the bolt as ground instead of using the black wire conected in the diagram like you did in the other windows? And how did you know the right wire for power? Did you test it? I’m trying yo install in a cx5 mazda and diagrams are a mess…

Hey @@noahdavis4704, I've got a civic touring as well, wanted to check with you if you've noticed anything strange with the infotainment screen, when it connects to my android auto sometimes it's responsive righ away and sometimes it's awfully laggy and completely useless I give it about 10 minutes to pick itself up. Have you noticed anything as such?

No hate, if you want to clean it up a bit you can use Velcro and flush cuts for your zip ties. Them zip ties will get sharp otherwise.
I prefer using Kapton tape instead of electrical tape because over time, electrical tape glue becomes gooey and oozes out the sides which attracts dust. This doesn't happen with Kapton tape.

Hey bro , Why don't you take the negative pole from the passenger door from the driver's door to the glass? I see that the other three doors all take the negative pole from the electric latch to the glass .

Wish you had a smaller kit. I don’t want the foot wells or door panels. Round circles. Just the doors and front. You would make bank off a 5 piece or 6 piece kit

What is the name of the app the one I installed was different from the app you used in video. Fried two led strips by accidentally plugging them in the 12v input 😢. (Learned from my mistake) love your videos. Installed duck tail, yofer front lip, and v3 TAILIGHTS. Thanks for saving me money

So why did you ground it to the passenger door chassis, on one door and not the others
The others didn’t have bolts like this one did near it. Uhmm recently I’ve tapped into the black wire for the passenger side

Hey dude amazing job very clean. I do have a question, it seems like the owner of this car installed a fuse tap already. But the direction of his fuse tap is opposite to yours as can be seen at 15:15. I just want to know which is the correct way, I do not own a voltmeter so I cannot confirm which side has the power source for the correct fuse installation. If you can check for me which orientation is correct it would be much appreciated!
The orientation I did my self.
There is no correct way of putting a fuse. Either way will work.
The fuse only adds continuity with specific amperage

No, use a voltage meter. Connect the red wire to a wire that is running 12v through it

Good day guys, im now installing mine on my 2022 accord, but the wiring diagram is a little different than the video, my driverside door has the Red connection but dosnt have the Black connection right under. It has a Grey wire.. the back driver door dosnt have the thick Green wire to put the red connection.. Please help thanks..

Taking off the door should be on RUclips and wiring diagram you can use the voltage meter, any wire that reads 12V is the wire red one should go to. Black will go with black basically
i was going to ask why you put the red to the green for the back door then red to yellow for the next door. after reading this reply i found out that you putted the red wire to any wire that have 12V

The only thing i hate about this strips is how thick they are cuz u can’t fit them in some gaps
On the front passenger side. When u connect the box to the harness why do u connect the black wire to ground bolt and not to tap to the harness like the other doors
If I want to connect the lights on 2017 Honda Civic are the same connections for the doors also

How many boxes does the premium light comes with.
The website states it cover the 4doors and the console.
But what if for example I want to have 2 more led strips somewhere else.
Do I have to get another box?
Or just use another slot
And there night be enough strip left over for my other two strips?

So I did everything like in the video but I got to the part of top left corner of the dash and noticed the light did not work. Tried connecting another wire in the kit and it caught fire. Hey quick question how do I know which colours to put the red into and the black? Is it same in every car window? My car has red and a bunch of other colours not sure if there's black but it's an audi a4 if that helps, just a little scared of breaking something!
Not same with all cars. Gotta use a multimeter to see which wires in the doors gives 12V output

Yes black wire with black wire works too. Just be-careful not to touch the red with the black as well because green is so close lol
