The idea that Eren lived out the 4 years with Mikasa in the paths actually brings me a lot of peace. He was showing her that no matter what happened, they were going to have to part; even if she answered that she loved him when he asked what he was to her, and as a result he didn't do the rumbling, sure they would've gotten four years together, but he still would've died anyways and they would've had to abandon their friends. So once Mikasa got to see that and live those 4 years out, she realized that killing him was something she could accept because he would've died anyways.
A mini fact: In the after party drama cd’s eren said “So, that conversation turned out to be the last one between us, huh? and it was the last chance i could really be with you. why did i have to be so stubborn? it was just an ice cream. i should’ve tasted it with you.” - referring to the scene where mikasa wanted to share the ice cream

I just wanna say I really appreciate you guys actually keeping up with organizing your playlists. It makes it a lot easier to go through those epic moments throughout the episodes in the series again. I don't think it's ultimately too important as to who the guy is? Esp considering neither Isayama nor Mappa bothered to clarify. It's like Titanic. FMC loses her lover. Goes on and has a full life. Dies in old age with her trademark scarf/that most represents their love for the prev guy. The last you see of her is reunited with the lost love that defined her life which for her was Eren. The series starts with them and it ends with them.

As someone who is not a hardcore major AoT fan, I’m so happy for the massive fans like you ladies who are satisfied and happy with the conclusion of this incredible series. Isayama is very talented writer who created an iconic story, that effected and touched so many people around the world from so many different walks of life, that is beautiful. Congratulations to all big AoT fan who where able to follow this incredible journey from beginning to end.
I always get emotional to see Mikasa cry in the opening. I agree with the theory that other people also are saying that when we saw Mikasa die at the end that she reunited with Eren in the afterlife and live the life she always wanted with Eren. You guys can still watch AOT: junior high, that anime is more wholesome and funny.

The people who thought Eren's breaking down was "out of character" really were drinking that "Chad Eren" cool-aid drink too much, and weren't actually reading the series for the themes and for what it was trying to say - because my god is it obvious.
Lol. Him crying isn’t an issue. Him crying over mikasa is a BIG ISSUE. The lines of regarding mikasa is placed with higher priority than the lines regarding the rumbling. And eren saying he doesn’t know why tf he did it not only makes him a bigger asshole but also a character that was poorly written. Using his head getting messed up as an excuse to say “I don’t know why I did it” is also poor writing. The song writer linked horizon has a better understanding of the writing more than the writer himself and the lyrics of the final opening are a clear reflection of that. Overall the story fails to acknowledge the themes that it built up from the start all to make it a forceful romantic tragedy. AoT is by far the most objectively terrible piece of writing. It takes a great amount of effort to mess up this badly.

This Ed seems to me to show something that could have happened very easily. But we need 3 very important points for this 1) The world shouldnt have been cruel. Eren created a normal life for his loved ones, but when he was alive, there was no such thing. 2) Eren should be a slightly different person at the root. Many dont understand, but he was born obsessed with fighting and fighting for freedom. Despite all his feelings for Mikasa , it 's true . There is direct proof, (besides the final episode)official school casts that show what the characters would be like in real life. So, Eren was sometimes bored that he had dreams that the zombie apocalypse had come, and he dreams of saving Mikasa and Armin from zombies. And when he wakes up, he's disappointed that it's not true. 3) Mikasa had to learn to talk about her feelings openly, of course Eren couldnt understand that she loved him not as a family, but as a guy, when she often treated him like a family. Here are 3 points.

I did like these last two songs. My only wish is that one had involved Armin a bit more. We saw in the finale and most of the series that Eren and Armin have a very special relationship. So I just wish he got a song to either Eren or Mikasa. Since they both have songs to each other already. But it's fine I suppose

The foreshadowing of Attack on Titan is also in the numbers, and it's amazing. 104÷13=8 (104th Training Corps) ÷ (Ymir's 13-year curse) = (8 survivors) The survivors of the 104th Training Corps Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Reiner, Annie, Hitch, Historia, There are 8 people, and the number 104 is a foreshadowing of how many people will survive at the end. Also on page 13 of episode 1 of volume 1 of the manga. There is only one flashback scene where Mikasa says ``See you later Eren'', but if you line up the calendar of 845, you get the number 13845, and on page 45 of episode 138 it says ``See you later Eren''. The scene depicts Mikasa kissing Eren. Also, the year 2000 can be derived from the number 2000 if we look back at the story. During his speech, Willy Tyber said that the person who built the three walls was the 145th King Fritz. 145 x 13 years = 1885 In the second episode of the manga, when the trainees graduate from training, the instructor says that the wall was built ``107 years ago.'' 1885+107 years=1992 Eren's life expectancy is 8 years from the year he graduates from the training corps (because he was given an injection 5 years ago when he was a child). 1992+8=2000. Fun easter egg time: In the episode of Eren's head touched zeke, remember the memory pieces flash back, there was a easter egg based on the spin off Attack on School. If you need to slow it down to rewatch it, after the key swinging over, there is a 0.1s shot of a parallel universe of Mikasa being a goth girl, Armin has nerdy glasses. I have to say that was one of the many scenes that anime adaptation surpass the manga. In the manga that scene is just many fragment of memory shattered on the same page. In this spin off where they put fun element to these characters like one episode is about walking dead but with these familiar characters. There are more spin off after that, Hange has an advanture with the titan she captured; Eren and mikasa in a slice of life high schoolers anime; Jean admires mikasa secretly and Mikasa goes working out and got abs and stylish. And many more. Really fun ones guys, check it out.
She never got married in the manga, you can see that she continues to cover the azumabito symbol, which means that she never had children biologically, but if you go to season 3, remember that she works at Historia's orphanage, which tells you that She adopted that child and Armin's VA confirmed that the scarf is the engagement ring between Eren and Mikasa

When initially reading the manga I believe he purposely sent Dina to where Carla is for his younger self to develop so much hatred to that titan to be able to punch it instead of cowering or running away, this way he would be able to touch a titan with royal blood.
I don't think the bombing of Paradis island was thousands of years into the future and had nothing to do with Eren's actions/hatred of Eldians. In the story's timeline the outside world already had planes. IRL the first skyscrapers were built around the same time as the first planes so the modern buildings didn't necessarily take long. I think as soon as the world rebuilt enough strength, in a decade or two, they mounted their revenge on Paradis.
We don't know enough about the world to really know. The rumbling destroyed everything in its path. That includes all technology and crops/food. Eren said he pushed everyone back on technology so we have to assume no advanced country was intact. Starvation and infighting would have been rampant. It likely took 100 years for these countries just to get back to the start of the series. A pair plague that stopped out 20% of a civilization in our history has pushed advancement back decades. That doesn't even touch current infrastructure or resources.

When she got fed up she said she wanted to go back to their home and when eren explained it again she said “I promised I wouldnt bring it up again”. Mikasa and connie had more interaction than with jean in the whole show. Man I don't think she married jean by any means lmfao. They literally have zero connection. And the flowers pattern are the same type of flower that we saw in the Historia ending in S3. That flower is not showed in any other place in the whole series. To clarify, most people who hated the ending and in particular the Eren breakdown scene, didn't hate it because Eren has an emotional breakdown but because Eren acts half incel and half possessive in that scene, which is completely out of character since he's never been possessive of Mikasa. It was written very very poorly, the entire panel/scene with Armin and the whole chapter. We never actually saw Eren expressing any kind of romantic feelings towards Mikasa and for him to all of a sudden say things like "i want her to pine over me for 10 years at least" wasn't just hilarious to read or watch but again, totally out of character. Let's add also the fact that in the manga Armin thanks Eren for being a mass murderer in the beach scene, which was wildly funny to read as well. That line and whole part of the scene was removed in the anime, not just because it was trash writing but probably because of everything that is still happening in the world(Ukraine, Palestine, etc..). The problem remains however, since every other character still thanks Eren for slaughtering 80% of humanity, including children.

The idea that Eren lived out the 4 years with Mikasa in the paths actually brings me a lot of peace. He was showing her that no matter what happened, they were going to have to part; even if she answered that she loved him when he asked what he was to her, and as a result he didn't do the rumbling, sure they would've gotten four years together, but he still would've died anyways and they would've had to abandon their friends. So once Mikasa got to see that and live those 4 years out, she realized that killing him was something she could accept because he would've died anyways.
Thats a good way of looking at it something I have overlooked and this has given me some peace of mind.
A mini fact: In the after party drama cd’s eren said “So, that conversation turned out to be the last one between us, huh? and it was the last chance i could really be with you. why did i have to be so stubborn? it was just an ice cream. i should’ve tasted it with you.” - referring to the scene where mikasa wanted to share the ice cream

I don't think it's ultimately too important as to who the guy is? Esp considering neither Isayama nor Mappa bothered to clarify. It's like Titanic. FMC loses her lover. Goes on and has a full life. Dies in old age with her trademark scarf/that most represents their love for the prev guy. The last you see of her is reunited with the lost love that defined her life which for her was Eren. The series starts with them and it ends with them.

I always get emotional to see Mikasa cry in the opening. I agree with the theory that other people also are saying that when we saw Mikasa die at the end that she reunited with Eren in the afterlife and live the life she always wanted with Eren. You guys can still watch AOT: junior high, that anime is more wholesome and funny.

The people who thought Eren's breaking down was "out of character" really were drinking that "Chad Eren" cool-aid drink too much, and weren't actually reading the series for the themes and for what it was trying to say - because my god is it obvious.
Lol. Him crying isn’t an issue. Him crying over mikasa is a BIG ISSUE. The lines of regarding mikasa is placed with higher priority than the lines regarding the rumbling. And eren saying he doesn’t know why tf he did it not only makes him a bigger asshole but also a character that was poorly written. Using his head getting messed up as an excuse to say “I don’t know why I did it” is also poor writing. The song writer linked horizon has a better understanding of the writing more than the writer himself and the lyrics of the final opening are a clear reflection of that. Overall the story fails to acknowledge the themes that it built up from the start all to make it a forceful romantic tragedy. AoT is by far the most objectively terrible piece of writing. It takes a great amount of effort to mess up this badly.

Eren directly killed 80% but isn't the only 1 responsible, I know people have focus on the ending & theme of the story but remember that willy Magath all generals of marleys & all the people had grudge & hate fueled this they are responsible too they killed those 80% & the scouts when they were fighting against titans
This Ed seems to me to show something that could have happened very easily. But we need 3 very important points for this 1) The world shouldnt have been cruel. Eren created a normal life for his loved ones, but when he was alive, there was no such thing. 2) Eren should be a slightly different person at the root. Many dont understand, but he was born obsessed with fighting and fighting for freedom. Despite all his feelings for Mikasa , it 's true . There is direct proof, (besides the final episode)official school casts that show what the characters would be like in real life. So, Eren was sometimes bored that he had dreams that the zombie apocalypse had come, and he dreams of saving Mikasa and Armin from zombies. And when he wakes up, he's disappointed that it's not true. 3) Mikasa had to learn to talk about her feelings openly, of course Eren couldnt understand that she loved him not as a family, but as a guy, when she often treated him like a family. Here are 3 points.

I agree that the alternate ending you proposed is very plausible. It is clear that Eren and Mikasa have deep feelings for each other, and it is also clear that Eren is a complex character who is driven by his desire for freedom.
Point 1: The world should not have been cruel. Eren created a normal life for his loved ones, but when he was alive, there was no such thing.
This is a very important point. Eren's world was one of constant conflict and violence. He saw firsthand the horrors that humanity can inflict upon itself, and this shaped his worldview. If he had been born into a more peaceful world, it is possible that he would have been able to live a more normal life, and his relationship with Mikasa would have been different.
Point 2: Eren should be a slightly different person at the root. Many don't understand, but he was born obsessed with fighting and fighting for freedom. Despite all his feelings for Mikasa, it's true.
This is another important point. Eren is a fundamentally different person than most people. He is driven by a desire for freedom that surpasses all else. Even his feelings for Mikasa are not enough to stop him from pursuing his goals.
Point 3: Mikasa had to learn to talk about her feelings openly. Of course Eren couldn't understand that she loved him not as a family, but as a guy, when she often treated him like a family.
This is also a very valid point. Mikasa has always been hesitant to express her true feelings to Eren, and this has led to some misunderstandings between them. If she had been more open about her feelings, it is possible that Eren would have been able to understand her better and their relationship would have been different.
And, I think your alternate ending is very plausible and well-argued. It is clear that you have a deep understanding of the characters and the story.

Fun easter egg time: In the episode of Eren's head touched zeke, remember the memory pieces flash back, there was a easter egg based on the spin off Attack on School. If you need to slow it down to rewatch it, after the key swinging over, there is a 0.1s shot of a parallel universe of Mikasa being a goth girl, Armin has nerdy glasses. I have to say that was one of the many scenes that anime adaptation surpass the manga. In the manga that scene is just many fragment of memory shattered on the same page. In this spin off where they put fun element to these characters like one episode is about walking dead but with these familiar characters. There are more spin off after that, Hange has an advanture with the titan she captured; Eren and mikasa in a slice of life high schoolers anime; Jean admires mikasa secretly and Mikasa goes working out and got abs and stylish. And many more. Really fun ones guys, check it out.
She never got married in the manga, you can see that she continues to cover the azumabito symbol, which means that she never had children biologically, but if you go to season 3, remember that she works at Historia's orphanage, which tells you that She adopted that child and Armin's VA confirmed that the scarf is the engagement ring between Eren and Mikasa

When initially reading the manga I believe he purposely sent Dina to where Carla is for his younger self to develop so much hatred to that titan to be able to punch it instead of cowering or running away, this way he would be able to touch a titan with royal blood.

I don't think the bombing of Paradis island was thousands of years into the future and had nothing to do with Eren's actions/hatred of Eldians.
In the story's timeline the outside world already had planes. IRL the first skyscrapers were built around the same time as the first planes so the modern buildings didn't necessarily take long. I think as soon as the world rebuilt enough strength, in a decade or two, they mounted their revenge on Paradis.
We don't know enough about the world to really know. The rumbling destroyed everything in its path. That includes all technology and crops/food. Eren said he pushed everyone back on technology so we have to assume no advanced country was intact. Starvation and infighting would have been rampant. It likely took 100 years for these countries just to get back to the start of the series.
A pair plague that stopped out 20% of a civilization in our history has pushed advancement back decades. That doesn't even touch current infrastructure or resources.

Also, eren definitely lived out tose 4 years with mikasa. When she got fed up she said she wanted to go back to their home and when eren explained it again she said “I promised I wouldnt bring it up again”. She was there before and eren helped her ease the pain by bringing her in again. Its also why I got get the people saying he died a virgin😂

I never "supported" genocide & though I don't think it's abt what was the right choice there was no 'right' choice, but beside complete rumbling what ensured paradise's sure safety? & as historia said what happened isn't result of eren's choice only, it's all of us too, I hate that the show brought up what happened with hange Sasha & yeagerist & alliance again, I know it's natural for eren to feel guilty abt it since he's not a hypocrite when it comes to facing his choices unlike some members of alliance, but why some of u see only eren as guilty, in ep6 there was declaration of war on paradise, hange herself decided to gather them to stop the rumbling & yeagerists went there themselves to stop them to prevent paradise from being genocided, & alliance could bring themselves to kill them to stop this genocide... To clarify, most people who hated the ending and in particular the Eren breakdown scene, didn't hate it because Eren has an emotional breakdown but because Eren acts half incel and half possessive in that scene, which is completely out of character since he's never been possessive of Mikasa. It was written very very poorly, the entire panel/scene with Armin and the whole chapter.
We never actually saw Eren expressing any kind of romantic feelings towards Mikasa and for him to all of a sudden say things like "i want her to pine over me for 10 years at least" wasn't just hilarious to read or watch but again, totally out of character. Let's add also the fact that in the manga Armin thanks Eren for being a mass murderer in the beach scene, which was wildly funny to read as well.
That line and whole part of the scene was removed in the anime, not just because it was trash writing but probably because of everything that is still happening in the world(Ukraine, Palestine, etc..). The problem remains however, since every other character still thanks Eren for slaughtering 80% of humanity, including children.
