Fantastic video, I already have an amp in my car and I was thinking about upgrading my head unit. Seems like this alpine will work perfectly providing a clean signal to my amp. Thank you

The same goes for Pioneer HU with Bt and no CD.
Leaving out bass things flat i get
Full clean on RCA at max vol 60
    Int Amp Distorted at 46.
i love this HeadUnit. Im using a cheap DSO from amazon.
Also make sure to check these points at 13.9+ volts. Lower than 12 voltage gets to clipping earlier.

Hallo I just subed to you. I'll appreciate if you can answer to me.. I own a alpine 100eub and connected to it an active subwoofer (pioneer ts-wx300a), 2 front speaker 50w rms (jbl stage 3 607c) and rear 50w rms (Pioneer TS-R6951S).. I'm thinking of upgrade to this headunit for seperate subwoofer control, Bluetooth and mostly sound quality. Is it worth the upgrade sound quality wise and is it OK to play all speakers with Headunits amplifier (I'll turn off bass on them) or I need an external amplifier? (I'm allready satisfied with 100eub).Thank you

How can I save all these settings so that I don't lose them when I change my battery and another issue is, each time I turn off the car and use the radio again some other day or so, the repeat and shuffle function just turns itself on(I see it in my display LCD), forcing the playback to shuffle and randomly pick tracks for me, what is this?
and lastly, what value do you set the Fader, Balance, bass and treble and the subwoofer at to get the best sound? Yeah I know most hears are different but, at least there is a good starting point.
Do you still use the EQ preset - Rock, Jazz, Hiphop etc after setting all those things I mentioned above or you don't touch it?

    Hello mate,
Which alpine head unit do you currently recommend? I don’t need a CD player capability, just a good unit which has Bluetooth and mp3 aux capability as well as a future subwoofer 🔊 capability.
It’s for my smart car 2005.
    Thanks

      sorry for late response!
the alpine UTE-92BT is currently best that alpine has in DSP and BT + subout.
178BT is gettin old and the new 200/203 are not nearly as good as 92BT/193BT

Do you know when alpine ute-72bt start to distort?

I bought this unit and my midrange woofers keeps disorting due to much bass. I’ve tried every setting now? Any suggestions. Had the same setup with a different radio in another car and was way clearer and louder.

I'm not clear what that bass engine is. Does it sense you've connected a bass sub and increase the output to that channel? I'm not too well up on this stuff.

      It just boosts certain freq

    • @nulla9601

Some kind of bass boost. I have this stereo and although it boosts the bass, the highs gets very sharp and hollow and it's not nice to listen to so I always have it off.
If you want some more bass, just crank the bass equalizer up but not the bass engine

Hi tell me I had an Alpine 171 I now want from the new models with the support of FLAC I want to buy the 201 model, how will it sound better than I had 171 !? The new model 201 DAC 24Bt but the low frequency starts from just 20 Hz. The 171 had 5 Hz.

    • @teamperanurkka
      @teamperanurkka  5 лет назад +2

24bit DAC has better dynamic in sound. it means that in fast phasng music or music that has very high highs and low lows it can output them better than lower bit dacs. You can hear the difference in highquality setups, but normal dailydrive or basshead setups you barely hear the difference.
Khz and bit ranges in audiosetups are easily to be explained in graphs, but hard to hear difference without extremely well made setup.
The Hz range from 201 will work under 20Hz range, it is just that the 20hz-> the level is in between 3dB range, under 20Hz the headunit will start to filter out

Is it possibile the waves seems distorted or cutted just because the scale is lower than the values? So the waves are hidden out of the display when the spikes seems to be flat (not when they are blade shaped), what if you increase the scale of reading to see the complete shape of the waves?
