Op Amps: Simple Frequency Tailoring

Sometimes there is a need to alter the frequency response of an op amp circuit modestly, that is, without going through the work and expense of a full-blown filter. Simple reductions of F2 along with reductions in low frequency gain often can be achieved through the addition of a capacitor (or two) in the feedback network. In this video, we examine the process using non-inverting amplifiers, although the process is easily extended to inverting amplifiers.

You're not the first to ask that question! I guess it's "the algorithm". I imagine that if I made the videos with outrageous names, crazy title cards featuring scantily clad young women with surprised looks on their faces, and made wild claims regarding conspiracies, it would bubble to the top and more people would see it. So...maybe I should re-title this video as "Amazing, simple trick they don't want you to know about!", and then hire some models for the title screen, holding capacitors while laughing.
BTW, I consider being compared to K&R an extreme compliment. Not sure I deserve that, but thank you.

Excellent. Do we need to be concerned about the DC Ground when we put the Cap in series with Ri?

No, we have a bias path through the generator for + and one through Rf for -.
