I keep coming back to watch this amazing display by Fiji. As a proud Welshman, I can happily say the best team won and should have probably won by more. These Fijians were so dangerous. However, if we had not have lost this game, the Gatland Era could have been very different.
Without a Fijian team, rugby would be boring. They play a type of rugby that is not for the faint hearted. It is chaotic, adrenaline pumping, crazy but so exciting to watch. You can't stay glued to your seat.
What a game that was, Fiji were stunning, I was so thrilled when the final whistle went out cause there had been so many twists, it looked like Wales could turn it around again at the last minute. But Fiji deserved it so much and what a lovely support they had from the crowd.
Always a big fan of the South Sea Islanders. Hope to see a performance like this from Fiji in the World Cup this year and my cuzzies are playing😊😊😊 Matavesi for Fiji and Taqele for Aussies. Hope they both play when they face off
This was incredible! I remember on the show 'Total rugby' the Fijians were saying their goodbyes at the place they were staying right before this game cause they knew they were going to lose to Wales. Then 'this' happened. Thank you World rugby!

Wales wouldn't have made that comeback if Qera wasn't given a ridiculous yellow card. One of the Welsh players went to go charging into the side of the maul illegally and all Qera did was put up his leg to protect himself and he was the one carded. Because of that they scored two tries down the side with overlaps and then Wales scored a push over try with Fiji being one man down in the scrum.

This is not a shock because both teams match each other in size,Goliath vs Goliath. But Japan beating South Africa was a real shock..because Japanese are a bunch of tiny blokes taking on big tall South African opponents; it was a real case of David vs Goliath.

Wasn't' that much of a shock, we were dreadful that year, avoided the wooden spoon by a whisker, then played awful in the world cup. Canada led us 3 tries to 0 at the start of the second half when we played them lol, we only won on fitness there.
Says a lot how much they sorely needed a decent flyhalf after Nicky Little retired, especially with how much of a difference the goalkicking would've made in that match.
